摘要： A grain wagon includes a wheel supported frame on which is mounted a hopper or container for receiving grain, and the wagon is pulled by a tow vehicle or tractor. An inclined discharge conveyor or auger has a folding outer section which projects upwardly and forwardly and laterally outwardly from the container. The auger has a pivotal discharge spout and a pivotal internal baffle, and the spout is actuated by a double acting hydraulic cylinder controllable through hydraulic lines from the cab of the tractor so that the tractor operator may fully load and “top off” the grain within an adjacent semi-trailer as the tractor operator pulls the wagon along the length of the semi-trailer.

摘要： The invention is a bulk handing apparatus attachable to the flat bed of a truck having a flat bed tiltable on the frame of the truck rearward at an angle. The apparatus has a rectangular elongated frame having side frame members spaced from one another to receive seed containers with projecting ledges the bottom of the containers. The side frame members have inward flanges for engagement over the projecting ledges of seed containers to lock the containers between the side frames and is adapted to receive a plurality of seed containers between the side frame members.. The apparatus has front flanges to engage the front container and hold it between the side flanges and a rear flange to hold the rear container in place and an slidable opening in the rear flange and a guideway beneath the containers and between the side frame member to enable an augering apparatus to be mounted to the rear flange and the containers opened at their bottoms to enable to seed to gravitate down into the guideway and the flat bed and apparatus tilted at an angle to rear to enable the seed to gravitate rearward along the guideway and out the opening in the rear flange to the auger for the auger to auger the seed into seed drills.

摘要： A self-unloading container apparatus comprises a container mounted on a vehicle. An upright auger tube has its bottom end in the container and top end outside the container. An intermediate auger tube is pivotally attached at one end to the upright auger tube so as to pivot about a pivot axis on a pivot plane and at the other end to a lateral auger tube at a fixed oblique angle. A universal joint connects the intermediate flighting shaft to the upright flighting shaft with the center of the joint on the pivot plane and axis. A constant velocity universal joint connects the intermediate flighting shaft to the lateral flighting shaft with a center thereof located at the intersection of axes of the intermediate and lateral auger tubes. The lateral auger tube pivots from a transport position aligned with the travel direction, to an operating position transverse to the travel direction.

An inclined discharge auger conveyor has an outer section which folds between a stored position and an operating position projecting upwardly and forwardly and laterally outwardly from the container. In one embodiment, the outer section of the auger conveyor has an outer telescopic housing extension which carries the discharge spout and extends and retracts automatically with folding of the outer auger conveyor section.

摘要： A flowable material delivering vehicle in combination with a material dispensing system including a fixed conveyor extending continuously from a position located adjacent a vehicle container outlet aperture to a position located adjacent a vehicle cab front end. A dispensing adapter is attached to the vehicle for receiving a portion of the flowable material when the latter emanates from the fixed conveyor. In one embodiment, the dispensing adapter includes a pivotable conveyor pivotally attached to the vehicle and a configuring mechanism. The configuring mechanism allows the pivotable conveyor to pivot between a stowed configuration wherein it lies in a generally proximal and parallel relationship relative to an edge of the vehicle and a working configuration wherein the pivotable conveyor extends away from the vehicle so as to allow discharging of the flowable material away from the vehicle. In another embodiment, the dispensing adapter includes a dispensing chute defining a chute inlet end positioned adjacent the fixed conveyor discharge section, a laterally and downwardly extending chute body and a chute outlet end positioned laterally relative to the vehicle.

摘要： A discharge system with dual doors and an intermediate auger for dispensing materials from a storage receptacle either beneath the receptacle or remotely. The operator may select to discharge stored materials beneath the receptacle by opening an upper door and lower door to permit gravitational discharge from the receptacle. An intermediate auger is remotely coupled to an auger system for remote discharge. The auger system comprises two discrete sections selectively coupled by a pivot assembly. During coupling, the second section arcuately moves from a stowed position into a discharge position wherein receptive contact is established with the first section. The first section comprises an elongated conveyor disposed between the upper and lower doors to receive dispensed materials for subsequent output adjacent the trailer periphery. The conveyor comprises a cylindrical housing supporting a terminal hydraulic motor that rotates an internal screw auger to propel dispensed particulate material inside the transporter to an output orifice for transfer into the second section for external delivery. The second section comprises an auger transporter that comprises a cylindrical housing supporting a terminal motor rotating an internal screw auger that propels materials therethrough to an external discharge spout. The pivot assembly comprises a reinforcing sleeve that circumscribes an intermediate portion of the auger transporter to secure a hydraulic cylinder and a hinge thereto. The cylinder and hinge are oppositely anchored to the frame in proximity. The hinge comprises a sleeve circumscribing collar defining an integral base that is journalled between an upper trunnion and a lower trunnion by a roll pin. The sleeve comprises a rigid cylinder that concentrically extends along a portion of the auger transporter and is secured thereto.

The auger hopper seal includes a hopper for a pivotable auger at an intake end of the auger, the hopper having a rear wall located underneath a storage tank, side walls extending from underneath the storage tank, and a front wall positioned away from the storage tank, the hopper being located below a discharge opening on the storage tank and having a hinged connection to the storage tank, wherein the hopper may be pivoted vertically with respect to the storage tank, a flexible seal attached to the rear wall and the side walls of the hopper and positioned between the hopper and a bottom surface of the storage tank, the flexible seal being capable of being displaced by the bottom surface, and a biasing device mounted on the hopper and contacting the flexible seal and urging the flexible seal into a configuration co-planar with the rear wall of the hopper, wherein the flexible seal is capable of retaining a material contained in the hopper when the auger is elevated to a maximum vertical position.
