摘要： The present invention is a cantilever displacement cargo carrier with an adjustable bearing slide. It has a beam with a first end and a second end, where the first end comprises a cantilever displacement housing with a pivot hole. The carrier has a pivot beam with a first end having a pivot bushing and a slide compartment where an upper adjustable bearing slide is in contact with a lower adjustable bearing slide. The upper adjustable bearing slide has two pin saddles and the lower adjustable bearing slide has a threaded adjusting bolt receiver. A horizontal bearing pin with a plurality of roller bearings is inserted into the two pin saddles. An adjusting bolt is inserted into the threaded adjusting bolt receiver. A pivot pin is inserted into the pivot hole and the pivot bushing.

摘要： A spare tire mount for the rear of a motor vehicle has a first outer support frame with a second, inner support frame nested inside and releasably connected to the first frame. Both frames extend laterally across the back of the vehicle and extend upward at an angle. Both frames rotate about a vertical joint at the rear bumper so the frames rotate toward and away from the vehicle. The second frame holds the spare tire and rotates about a horizontal axis. A wire rope winds around a reel on the first frame with the rope connected to the second frame to raise and lower the second frame and tire as they rotate about the first horizontal axis—toward and away from the first frame and ground. The reel is rotated by a worm screw and worm wheel.

摘要： A swing-away spare tire carrier assembly and system are designed to reduce shipping costs from the manufacturer to the end user, as well between the manufacturer and distributors. A swing-away tire carrier assembly has two vertical pieces that connect the tire to the swing-away horizontal arm. The vertical pieces comprise a vertical support stub that is mounted to the swing-away horizontal arm, and a detachable center bracket that holds the tire and is bolted to the shorter vertical support stub. As the center bracket is shipped detached to the vertical support stub, the shipping container for embodiments described herein are smaller compared to shipping containers for conventional tire carriers. A reinforcing member is laced within the vertical support stub and provides for additional welding joints to be formed between the horizontal and vertical surfaces.
