A cutting device for the production of corner cuts in the workpiece is disposed underneath the working plate. This cutting device is held on a support which lodges in the stand pivotally about an axis so that the cutting device can be moved into a position in which it is free from the working plate.

    摘要： A main-presser driving apparatus for an automatic binding sewing machine including two sewing needles for carrying out a binding sewing operation and a pair of main pressers for pressing a base cloth on which a binding cloth is to be sewn, the main pressers being supported by a frame of the sewing machine such that the two pressers are opposed to each other and are movable independently of each other along a directional line in which the two pressers advance toward, and retract away from, each other, the driving apparatus including a pair of drive devices each of which includes an actuator for displacing a corresponding one of the main pressers in the above-indicated direction independently of the other of the main pressers, each actuator being controllable to be stopped at a desired operational position; a needle distance specifying device specifying a distance between the two sewing needles; a control command producing device producing, based on the specified needle distance, a control command for each of the two actuators of said pair of drive means; and a control device driving each of the two actuators according to the produced control command and thereby displacing a corresponding one of the two main pressers along said directional line to a position corresponding to the produced control command.

    摘要： A workpiece fabric holding device for holding a pocket cloth onto a garment, and for feeding these on a sewing machine table for effecting a pocket sewing. Various kinds of sewing locus are required for various pocket sewings. A base pressure plate and associated movable pressure plate are provided. The base pressure plate is formed with a major needle slot, and the movable pressure plate is formed with at least two minor needle slots or holes having shapes different from each other. The combination of the major needle slot and one of the minor needle holes will provide a desired needle cut-out having a shape in conformance with a desired sewing locus. A plurality of such combinations can be provided by moving the movable pressure plate relative to the base pressure plate. For this, a holding means is provided to temporarily fix the position of the movable pressure plate.

    摘要： A pocket cloth folding device of a pocket setter in which a flow controller is provided on a folding-pieces support member such that the amount of working fluid through a fluid pressure driver for movement of the folding-pieces support member is controlled. The flow controller is constructed to be connected to either a flow supply path or a flow exhaust path via connectors. The flow amount of the flow controller is regulated in advance according to the type of the folding-pieces support member. Therefore, the pocket cloth folding device can fold the peripheral edge of the pocket cloth, immediately after the folding-pieces support member is attached to support blocks. The amount of supply air and exhaust air of the fluid pressure driver does not need to be adjusted each time a different type of pocket cloth is to be folded.
