摘要： An oscillating shuttle, including a shuttle race having a substantially annular guide groove including two end portions opposed to each other in a circumferential direction thereof, a shuttle body which includes a part-annular guided portion and a hook portion and which is oscillatory while the guided portion is guided by the guide groove, a driver which rotates the shuttle body about an axis line, wherein when the hook portion hooks a thread loop, the shuttle body is rotated by the driver in one of opposite directions such that the tail portion passes through one of the two end portions of the guide groove and enters an upper opening of the shuttle race and, when the shuttle body is rotated back in the other direction, a tail portion of the guided portion enters the one end portion of the guide groove, and at least one of the one end portion of the guide groove which has, in a direction parallel to the axis line, a width greater than a width of a remaining portion of the guide groove, and the tail portion of the guided portion which has, in a direction parallel to the axis line, a width smaller than a width of a remaining portion of the guided portion.

摘要： An upper needle guide (10) and a lower needle guide (40) for guiding a sewing needle during a stitching operation in order to keep the sewing needle laterally aligned along a stitching path so that the thread loop thrown by the sewing needle beneath the material being sewn is in alignment with the path of movement of a thread loop pick-up device (98). The upper needle guide includes a needle hole having a thread relief passageway (22) therein for providing a relief space for the sewing thread (34) as the needle moves through the needle hole. The lower needle guide includes a thread and needle slot (44) having a pair of V-shaped notches (46) therein. The V-shaped notches are aligned with the stitching path (84). In an alternative embodiment, the lower needle guide can comprise a feed dog (52) having a diamond-shaped needle hole (58) therein.

摘要： The embrodiery machine shuttle, preferably made of plastic, has two main components, namely a base plate and a housing which can be fastened on the base plate. The base plate forms the slide face of the shuttle. For this reason the elements required for thread tension are placed in the interior of the shuttle. A bobbin is maintained in the correct position by a bobbin mounting and a part thereof forms a rear thread guide element. The thread is drawn off the bobbin and routed to a thread hole through and around the thread guide element between an upper pressure plate and a lower counterpressure spring. The thread tension can be easily adjusted from the outside with a slide. The shuttle according to the present invention is suited, together with a corresponding shuttle processing machine, for automatic emptying, cleaning, filling with a fresh bobbin, threading and setting the thread tension.

摘要： The output centerpoint of a Cardan gear mechanism is connected via a ball and a pin slideable therethrough to a lever which in turn carries a looper. Because the major axis of the lever and the axis swept out by the output centerpoint are skewed the lever is reciprocated back and forth along its own major axis while being rotated therearound. This results in the looper being swept back and forth along part of a generally helical-like path.

摘要： An oscillating loop taker includes a bobbin case holder having a needle thread guiding projection which with a wedge forms a recess in which fits a driver member. A radial dimension from an axis of rotation of the holder to an inner leading edge portion of the projection is less than a radial dimension from such axis to an inner surface of the holder defining a space within which is housed a projection. The inclination of a needle thread guide face at the recess side of the projection is set to a desired comparatively large value. The circumferential length of the needle thread guide face is made comparatively long to enable a needle thread to be easily transferred onto the outer circumferential face of the bobbin case. Thereby, the bobbin thread is permitted to pass between the inner peripheral face in the vicinity of the base end portion of the projection and the outer peripheral end portion of the bobbin case. This enables the bobbin case in the bobbin case holder to be enlarged, enabling the diameter of a bobbin accommodated in the bobbin case holder also, to be enlarged, and enabling the winding capacity of the bobbin thread wound on the bobbin to be increased.
