摘要： An embroidery frame includes a mounting portion, a first frame with a magnet, and a second frame with a main body portion and a guide portion. The mounting portion is configured to be removably mounted on a sewing machine. The main body portion includes a clamping surface. The guide portion is configured by a non-magnetic material, is provided on the clamping surface, includes an inclined surface, protrudes further than the clamping surface in a first direction intersecting the clamping surface, and guides the first frame to the clamping surface. The inclined surface is inclined in a direction opposite to the first direction the further the inclined surface extends in a second direction that is orthogonal to the first direction and is from an outer side toward an inner side of the second frame. The second frame can clamp easily a sewing object, with the first frame, using magnetic force.

摘要： The present invention is an apparatus for uniformly pulling a base fabric taut for rug hooking. The apparatus includes an open rectangular frame having spaced parallel upper and lower members and spaced parallel side members having upper surfaces in a common plane. Grippers are pivotally supported on each of the frame members, wherein each of the grippers has a hinged outer edge and an upper surface adapted to grip the base fabric. Each gripper is independently pivotal between a relaxed position wherein the upper surface is parallel to the frame common plane and a raised position in which its upper surface is inclined outwardly. The apparatus further includes gripper actuators each having a gripper engagement end and a hand engagement end. The actuators are pivotal between a relaxed position and an engaged position, whereby the actuator moves the gripper to its raised position when the actuator is moved to the engaged position.

摘要： A mounting system for easily mounting flexible materials, such as needlepoint, is disclosed. The system uses a compressed foam unit placed between the flexible material and a mounting member. The compressed foam unit consists of a foam material sealed between two sheets of air impermeable material with the air having been removed. Once the flexible material is secured to the mounting member, the air impermeable material is punctured and the foam returns to its original state, thereby stretching the material.

The quilting frame apparatus comprises concentric rectangular outer and inner frames. 摘要： An embroidery easel apparatus includes a base, an adjustable arm with a lower end attached to the base, a rotatable head attached to an upper end of the arm, a clamp attached to the head, and a scrolling embroidery frame held in the clamp. The frame includes a pair of spaced rollers and a crossbar extending between side members. The clamp grips the frame by the crossbar, so that the rollers can be rotated for advancing a work piece mounted therebetween, and so that the work piece is not damaged by the clamp. The frame can be rotated or flipped over to allow access to the underside of the work piece. In a second embodiment, the clamp is rotatably attached to the upper end of the arm. The rotational axis of the clamp is positioned along the plane of the frame, so that the height of the frame is not changed after it is flipped over.

摘要： A portable crafting frame includes carding strips to releasable support fabric while stretched across a window opening to allow access to opposite sides of the cloth. Front and back pairs of legs are pivotally supported by notches in upstanding walls in a hollow interior of the crafting frame at the underside and facing toward a base where the legs snap in notches formed in walls. The crafting frame is restrained against forward and aft movement by abutment walls in the frames and base that engage the legs in an operative positions. The legs can be released from the base pivoted against the bottom of the crafting frame to allow storage of the crafting frame in the base.

摘要： A quilting frame comprises a support structure, and a plurality of horizontal, elongate rollers to hold the desired quilting materials. These rollers terminate in shafts, which are captured in grooves formed between the block and cap portions of a split side rail. The block and cap of these rails are fastened together by a plurality of adjustable clamping bolts, preferably one adjacent each roller, so that pressure between the block and cap frictionally engages the roller shafts captured therebetween, and thus can be selected to lock or unlock the rollers within the rail. Also incorporated into this rail system is a lateral tension cord system comprising a small tension block conditioned for placement against the quilting material suspended between a pair of rollers, with at least one tension cord extending laterally from the block through a groove in the rail block. The quilting material is connected (e.g., by pins) to the tension block via a short fabric leader, and the tension cord pulled through the groove to the degree of desired lateral tension, where it is held by tightening of a clamping screw or other fastener.

摘要： A device to improve and simplify techniques in needlework construction is disclosed which utilizes a porous resilient surface and a dense backing structure. The resilient surface is divided into two equal main working areas by a main indicator and each of the two main working areas are divided into smaller working areas by a plurality of secondary indicators. The purpose of the main and secondary indicators is to provide proper alignment of clothing materials placed on the device and more particularly with respect to completing a smocking apparatus. The purpose of the alignment indicators is to provide a series of work areas whereby a pre-pleated material can be pinned and retained while the smocking stitching is accomplished. The device also includes a circular marking area at the center of the structure which consists of a series of concentric circular lines having circumferences corresponding to standard neck sizing which is used for proper location of materials to be accomplished with smocking of round yoke or bishop dresses or collars.
