摘要： An ironing board cover includes a plurality of sheets, the first of which extends over the surface and periphery of the ironing board table and the second of which extends underneath the table. The second sheet is elastic (suitably made of synthetic materials such as those used in wetsuits, where the material is homogeneous in its resilience in all directions) and thereby provides a tensioning force on the sheet to keep the cover taut over the ironing board table. The second sheet may be additionally secured under the table or may extend wholly underneath the table with appropriate openings for the legs of the ironing board to not only extend therethrough but be foldable to a storage position.

摘要： The present invention is a cover for an ironing board that includes a top sheet, a pad of substantially the same size as the top sheet attached to the bottom surface of the top sheet, and a skirt attached about the periphery of the top sheet. The skirt has at least one nose portion, at least two side portions extending rearwardly from the nose portion, and at least one heel portion extending rearwardly from the respective side portions. The skirt also has an adjustable draw cord housed within a hem formed within the skirt. Preferably, the draw cord exits adjacent the heel portion. The cover of the present invention also has at least one cinch that has a first and a second element. Each element has two ends. The respective first ends of the first element and second element are each attached to corresponding and opposing inner edges of the two side portions of the skirt. The second end of the second element is formed with a ring and the second end of the first element is formed with a hook and loop fastener that is threadedly engageable with the ring of the second element. The cinch is adjustably tightenable through the engagement of the hook and loop fastener to tighten the cover upon the ironing board.

摘要： An improved head cover for insulating a head of a garment press apparatus is disclosed having an inner layer of heat-resistant material configured to directly and contiguously cover a non-pressing upper surface of the head. An outer fabric covering of heat-resistant material is secured to and covers the inner layer to form a single piece. The head cover contains a cutout portion and at least one slot, for accommodating a portion of a supporting mechanism attached to the head and a portion of a steam inlet conduit, respectively. First and second portions of the head cover are detachable from one another for easy installation of the head cover on a variety of heads.
