    摘要: A linkage system for a loader vehicle of the type comprising a pair of parallel lift arms having a first upper end pivotally connected to upper end portions of a vertical bracket member secured to the frame of the vehicle and a second lower end pivoted to an associated lower back portion of a bucket, a pair of bellcrank levers, the central portions of which are pivotally connected to corresponding upper end portions of the lift arms, a pair of connecting links having one or a first end pivotally connected to a lower end of the bellcrank levers and its other end pivotally connected to associated intermediate portions of the bracket members secured to the frame and a pair of bucket cylinders for control of rotation of the bucket about its lower end portion, having a head end pivotally connected to a corresponding upper end of the bellcrank levers and a rod end pivotally connected to an associated upper back end portion of the bucket.The principal characteristic of the invention comprises a pair of lifting cylinders having a head end pivotally connected to associated lower portions of the bracket members secured to the frame and a rod end pivotally connected to the lower end of the bellcrank levers and alternately to the first end of the connecting links.

    摘要: A cross support assembly is provided which is useful, for example, in earthworking equipment. Such an assembly can be mounted to extend between two lateral supports. A bracket extends laterally from the assembly and can serve as a supportive pivot for a bucket or the like. The assembly is generally hollow and acts as a torsion member. A bulkhead is welded in the cross support assembly and is positioned to directly receive forces exerted on the bracket. Usually the bracket and bulkhead are of unitary construction. The bulkhead extends within a generally tubular cross-member which also forms a part of the assembly and is attached between the lateral supports and into contact with the interior of the tubular member. Forces exerted on the assembly are thus generally compressively applied to the bulkhead welds adding to the overall strength of the assembly.

    摘要: Aerial lifting equipment having a platform, a support structure and means rotatably mounting the support structure upon the platform for rotation about a substantially vertical axis. A boom structure is mounted on the support structure for movement about a substantially horizontal axis and drive means is mounted upon the platform and the support structure for causing rotation of the support structure about the vertical axis. The drive means includes a track structure mounted in a fixed position on the platform. The drive structure has a circular track surface and at least three spaced friction members adapted to engage the drive surface. Motive means is provided for driving at least one of the friction members. The motive drive means includes planetary gearing within one of the friction members. Preloading means is provided for applying preloading forces to the one friction drive member to yieldably urge it into engagement with the circular drive surface. Azimuth switch means is provided for preventing rotation of the support structure about the means rotatably mounting the same through more than a predetermined number of revolutions.

The locating coupling includes interfitting locating elements which are engageable with one another so as to align the locking coupling in its locking position. The locking coupling includes interfitting locking elements which are engageable with one another in their locked position so as to maintain the locating elements in the interfitting interlocked position for maintaining the load moving member in the mounted position on the lift assembly and which locking element are disengageable from one another so as to enable the locating elements to be released from their interfitted relation to enable the detachment of the load moving member from the lift assembly.

    摘要: The bucket contains an ejector plate movable from side to side to discharge a load from either side of the bucket. Both sides of the bucket are equipped with doors which are opened and closed by double acting hydraulic cylinders and the doors are held closed and released by latch devices actuated by double acting hydraulic cylinders. The ejector plate is actuated by a pair of hydraulic cylinders arranged to move the ejector plate the entire width of the bucket. When a load is to be dumped from the right side of the bucket, the ejector plate is shifted to the left side before the bucket is loaded and when a load is to be dumped from the left side of the bucket, the ejector plate is shifted to the right side before the bucket is loaded. This arrangement allows the bucket to discharge from either side without tilting the bucket laterally.

A loader bucket is mounted for quick attachment to or detachment from the forward end of the lift arms and control links by means of a mechanism controlled from the operator''s seat. The attachment mechanism includes a pair of transversely extending, vertically spaced hydraulic cylinders with piston rods extending from both ends of the cylinders. The upper cylinder is attached to the forward end of the tilt control links and the lower cylinder is attached to and extends between the forward end of the lift arm. The outer ends of the piston rods are extendable into and retractable from corresponding sockets on the rear side of the bucket in response to alternate pressurization of the center of the cylinders or the opposite ends of the cylinders, which is controlled by valve means at the operator''s station.
