Abstract:
A combination lock is provided, the combination lock having a rotary latch configured for rotation between a locked position and an unlocked position, the rotary latch rotating in a first plane; and a bolt configured for movement between a first position and a second position along a second plane the second plane being oriented at a different location than the first plane, the bolt engaging the rotary latch in the first position such that rotation of the rotary latch from the locked position to the unlocked position is prevented.
Abstract:
A deadbolt security device clamps onto an interior deadbolt knob and prevents unlocking of the deadbolt door lock even with a key. While clamped onto the deadbolt knob the device has a shaft and a hook that extends around a door handle of the door to completely preventing turning of the deadbolt lock mechanism. This device is comprised of upper and lower clamp members that are movable toward each other to tightly grip the deadbolt interior knob or away from each other to permit easy removal of the device from the door.
Abstract:
An apparatus for preventing a deadbolt lock from being opened from the outside of a door with a key. The base is constructed from resilient material, the base defining at least one aperture for receiving one of a plurality of types of finger actuator in one of a plurality of orientations, the aperture shaped to prevent a finger actuator inserted therein from rotating relative to the base. A U-shaped plate is coupled to the base and is moveable between an extended position wherein the U-shaped plate is engageable with a member extending outwardly from the door and a storage position wherein the U-shaped plate is adjacent to the base. When a finger actuator is in the locked position and inserted into the aperture, and when the U-shaped plate is engaged with the member extending outwardly from the door, the finger actuator is prevented from moving into the unlocked position.
Abstract:
A security lock (10) including an arm (14) and a mounting member (12) is provided for use with a dead bolt lock assembly having a lock actuator on a first side (34) of a door (32) and a turn piece (36) on a second side (38) of the door (32). When the security lock (10) is in an engaged position (42), abutting surfaces (22a, 22b) of the arm (14) are positioned immediately adjacent the turn piece (36) to abut and restrict rotation of the turn piece (36).
Abstract:
For feeding curtain hooks, each consisting of a strip (1) and the hook (5) connected thereto, to a sewing machine which can sew the strip of an infed curtain hook onto a curtain pleat, use is made of a device comprising a storage holder (12) for the curtain hooks, and a device (9) for moving one curtain hook at a time from the storage holder (12) to a desired position for sewing on the strip of that curtain hook. According to the invention, the device (9) move the curtain hooks only in one straight line, the storage holder (12) is in the form of a vertical tube in which the curtain hooks can be stored stacked on top of one another, the bottom end of the storage holder (12) lies in or just above the straight movement path of the moving part (25) of the device (9), so that the moving part (25) can pick up the bottom hook in the storage holder (12), and the moving part (25) of the device ( 9) can return to the initial position during sewing on of the strip of the curtain hook held in position by the pressure foot of the sewing machine.
