摘要： A removable firearm chamber-obstruction mechanism includes a locking mechanism including at portion configured to be inserted in a chamber of a firearm and engage the chamber so as to be locked in place. The locking mechanism includes one or more finger actuators, a thumb bar actuator engaged with the one or more finger actuators, a release key connected to the thumb bar actuator, and a tooth key disposed in abutment against the release key. A handle covers the locking mechanism, and a lid encloses the handle. The locking mechanism locks and unlocks the tooth key upon a successful manual actuation of the one or more finger actuators and the thumb bar actuator, such that the tooth key engages the chamber in a locked position and is unengaged from the chamber in an unlocked position.

摘要： A biometric electro-mechanical locking system for a firearm includes a generally hollow main body having a pivot plate that is secured along the first end. A hand grip is positioned along the main body and configured to slide between a FIRE position where the trigger assembly of the firearm is accessible, and a SAFE position where the trigger assembly of the firearm is not accessible. A release button is positioned along the main body and is mechanically coupled to a dual locking assembly that is positioned within the main body. The dual locking assembly including an electromechanical locking unit having a processor, memory, fingerprint sensor and electric servo, and a mechanical locking unit having a mechanical combination lock.

摘要： Safety devices for firearms have been disclosed. A disclosed safety device comprises a lock plate having a non-round bore penetrated by a striker. Is also includes a locking element rotatably mounted on the striker to immobilize the striker sufficiently to prevent firing of a cartridge. The locking element has at least one radial projection. A combined outer contour of the at least one radial projection and the striker is complementary to the non-round bore of the lock plate such that the locking element can only pass into the non-round bore when the locking element is positioned in a predetermined angular position. The safety device also includes at least one pushbutton accessible on the outside of the firearm and operatively coupled to the locking element to rotate the locking element around the striker to unlock the safety lock.

摘要： A firearm safety mechanism having a self-contained locking mechanism incorporated into the magazine of a semi-automatic pistol which inhibits use of the firearm when a locking mechanism is disabled thereby preventing cartridges from moving through the magazine as well as locking the magazine in position so as to prevent unauthorized replacement. In a second embodiment a firearm safety mechanism for a revolver equipped with a cylinder incorporates a locking mechanism which inhibits cartridge from aligning with the firing mechanism and prevents the unauthorized removal of the cylinder. The locks include a selection structure preventing movement of the engagement structure from a locked position to an unlocked position upon receipt of predetermined selection criteria. The firearm can be locked against unauthorized use and unlocked by an authorized user without resort to external accessories.

摘要： A combination wall mount/portable gun lock assembly having a U-shaped locking bar having a pair of laterally spaced leg members. One leg member is inserted into the open end of the gun barrel until it is in the firing chamber. The other leg member has a transversely extending leg portion formed on its end that passes through the trigger guard aperture when the locking bar is installed on the gun. A combination lock is then inserted over the free end of the transversely extending leg portion and pressed tightly against the trigger guard. The locking bar prevents the chambering of a round in the firing chamber of the gun. The U-shaped locking bar can be passed through transversely aligned apertures in the wall mount unit when it is desired to mount the gun on a wall.

摘要： A firearm safety mechanism includes a lock with engagement structure. The engagement structure has a locked position in which the engagement structure operatively engages a portion of the firing mechanism to prevent discharge of the firearm. The engagement structure also has an unlocked position permitting operation of the firing mechanism. The lock includes at least one push button adapted to disengage the lock and permit movement of the engagement structure from the locked position to the unlocked position upon the reception of a predetermined selection criteria. Method and apparatus for attaching this and other safety locks to firearms, particularly revolvers, is also disclosed. The firearm can be locked against unauthorized use and unlocked by an authorized user without resort to exterior accessories.

摘要： A safety arrangement for selectively disabling a firearm is provided. The firearm includes a handle, a trigger, a hammer, and a barrel. The hammer, in an unlocked condition, is movable into a functional position for being actuable by the trigger for striking a magazine causing firing of a bullet and, in a locked condition, is mechanically locked so that it cannot be actuated by the trigger for causing firing of a bullet. The arrangement includes a control unit adapted in the locked condition to lock the hammer and, in the unlocked condition, to unlock the hammer; an electronic decoder unit adapted to decode input signals and to provide corresponding output signals; an electronic driver stage being adapted on receipt of the output signals from the electronic decoder unit, to cause corresponding operation of the control unit for locking and unlocking the hammer as the case may be; and a keypad unit having a number of key buttons, the key buttons being adapted on operation thereof to provide input signals to the electronic decoder unit when the keypad unit is electrically coupled thereto.

The safety lock includes a plurality of independently actuatable members, which in the preferred embodiment, are four push button switches connected to an electronic circuit. The electronic circuit compares the sequence in which the buttons are pushed and will operate an interlock means when the sequence matches a predetermined sequence.
