    摘要: A muzzle brake device includes a main body having a receiver opening, a discharge opening, a central bore, and a plurality of discharge channels extending outward from the central bore at locations between the receiver opening and the discharge opening. A plurality of raised inlet members are disposed along the central bore and are in communication with the plurality of discharge channels. A separation distance between the channels is complementary to the length of the projectile to which the weapon on which the device is attached, and each of the discharge channels are arranged to emulate the vane of a turbine engine, so as to produce a mechanical force that counteracts the recoil of the weapon to which the device is attached.

    摘要: The present disclosure provides, in part, new muzzle brakes, kits, and weapons systems (e.g., rifles) that allow for incremental adjustment of the ports of a muzzle brake so that the muzzle brake can be tuned for the user and firearm system. In certain aspects, the present disclosure provides muzzle brake plugs having an interior surface defining a plug bore that extends at least partially through the thickness of the muzzle brake plug and muzzle brakes having a plurality of side ports extending laterally away from a central bore and arranged to replaceably receive muzzle brake plugs. A bottom wall closing the plug bore of a muzzle brake plug can be selectively drilled or punch-out to create or enlarge an opening with the plug bore, thus allowing a shooter to tune the muzzle brake to the firearm system.

The muzzle device can include a cylindrical body defining an expansion chamber and can include a securing mechanism arranged at a proximal end and an end wall arranged at a distal end. An opening sized for a projectile can be arranged in the distal end wall. At least one distal tuning vent can be arranged in the distal end wall about the opening. A plurality of radial exhaust vents can be arranged through a cylindrical wall of the cylindrical body. The expansion chamber can define a fixed volume and the tuning and exhaust vents can define an open area.

    摘要: Muzzle jump of projectile-firing guns and weapons systems is significantly reduced by creating a momentum, rotating in the direction opposite to the rotational direction of the momentum causing muzzle jump by redirecting not a gas flow produced by a blast of ammunition but redirecting a projectile traveling through the barrel. The barrel is bent in such a way that curvature of the bend is convex in relation to the support of the gun. The plane of the curvature coincides with the plane of the momentum created by recoil of the gun. Since the projectile possesses significantly greater mass than escaping gases, the contra-momentum is greater than what could be achieved by redirecting a flow of escaping gases so it could be sufficient to completely negate momentum created by recoil force.

    摘要: A booster apparatus that is to be used with an autoloading handgun is provided. The proposed novel device utilizes a piston with five spokes which are secured against rotational movement by interfacing with five of ten indexing notches that are machined on the stopping flange of the booster housing. There are ten indexing notches provided which allows for ten positions of orientation for the silencer in relation to the bore of the host firearm. Unnecessary rotational movement is prevented by the indexing notches which are robust and secure the piston in place. This device when utilized with a handgun silencer will facilitate the proper semi automatic function of the host firearm.

    摘要: The suppression device and system attaches to the muzzle end of the barrel. A vent in the suppression device releases the gases from the barrel in a direction to compensate for drift and recoil. The suppression device adjusts to change the direction and distance from the user at which the device vents the gas. The user adjusts the positioning of the vent on the barrel to control the distances from which the vent is located from the user. The user also adjusts the direction of the vent. The vent directs the gases in a direction chosen by the user from a location designated by the user. Such adjustability enables the user to adapt the suppressor device to the user's specific needs.

    摘要: A muzzle brake has body having a muzzle end and an exit end with at least one side connecting the ends. A muzzle aperture in the muzzle end is sized and configured to fit a firearm muzzle. A projectile aperture in the exit end extends to the muzzle aperture. A line segment within the space of the muzzle aperture aligns with the centerline of the firearm and defines a projectile line through the body. Apertures pass through the body with their generating lines being perpendicular to the projectile line. The apertures are shaped to allow more gases to escape in one direction and to contain gases in the opposing direction. This causes the gases to exert forces on the muzzle brake which compensates for the tendency of the muzzle to rise when the firearm is fired.
