摘要： A device enabling a shotgun operator to carry an additional choke tube on the body of a shotgun is disclosed. Embodiments include a universal adapter end cap configured to be threaded onto the end of a shotgun magazine, the universal adapter end cap including an opposite end adapted to secure an accessory (e.g., shotgun choke tube). Accordingly, embodiments enables an operator to stow and carry a second unused choke tube at the end of the shotgun magazine. Some embodiments of the universal adapter end cap include a threaded opening that enables the choke tube to be threaded into the threaded opening. Some embodiments provide threads constructed from flexible material to enable both threading and push insertion of an accessory into the universal adapter end cap.

摘要： A firearm choke tube includes a cylindrical body, a choke interrupted thread section, and a locking tab. The choke interrupted thread section is positioned on an outer surface of the cylindrical body and configured to threadably engage an interrupted thread section of a barrel of a firearm to limit longitudinal movement of the cylindrical body relative to the barrel. The locking tab protrudes from the outer surface of the cylindrical body and is configured to interface with a detent formed in the barrel to limit rotational movement of the cylindrical body relative to the barrel.

摘要： A shotgun choke system consisting of four zones, a the first zone being a compression or constriction zone; the second zone being a stabilization zone; the third zone being a second compression or constriction zone; and the forth and final zone being a second stabilization zone. The shot package is compressed and constricted into a tight, uniform shot delivery package, and the wad package is completely separated from the shot package. The shot package therefore leaves the barrel of the choke, first, while gasses from the shot escape through a muzzle break and the wad package exits following the shot package, drastically reducing recoil and improving the shot pattern over prior art choke embodiments.

摘要： This invention is in relation to a shotgun choke tube made of Aluminum in which sometimes this Aluminum choke tube may be coated with an anodize or hard coat of some sort to increase hardness, strength and lubricity. It is composed of a cylindrical tube having a sealing face, multiple clearance diameters, a body, outside diameter threads and on extended type choke tubes, a head diameter which extends outward lengthwise to extend beyond the muzzle face of the barrel of the shotgun. The inside diameters are comprised of different surface finishes, tapers, straights and geometries. The aluminum choke tube is held in place inside the muzzle end of a shotgun barrel by the threads and sealing face which depending on the shotgun manufacturer is machined to fit that specific shotgun barrel.

The barrel includes an elongated and tapered forcing cone, a backbored region between the muzzle and the forcing cone, and a muzzle region of smaller diameter than the backbored region. The nominal inside diameter of the barrel from the forcing cone to a point adjacent the muzzle is greater than the muzzle diameter, and the backbored region is roughened at the in proximity to the muzzle. The forcing cone is elongated and tapered down from the chamber toward the muzzle end of the barrel.

摘要： Gases of combustion vented from the bore of a shotgun barrel in spaced relation to the muzzle travel along one or more passageways externally of the barrel and are discharged externally of the barrel and ahead of the muzzle in a generally transverse direction relative to the barrel axis to create turbulence immediately forward of the muzzle and exert lateral forces on a shot charge after the charge leaves the muzzle whereby the short range shot pattern produced by the barrel is substantially enlarged. A finite, moveable mechanical obstruction projecting into the bore retards the advance of a wad to reduce influence of the wad on the shot charge.

摘要： A gun barrel which comprises a relatively large-diametered portion formed integrally with a barrel body in the forward end thereof and adapted to incorporate an exchangeable choke inside the muzzle of said relatively large-diametered portion, said relatively large-diametered portion being formed coaxially with the gun barrel body ; a means for securely holding said choke therein; and/or gas vents formed in the substantially upper part of said relatively large-diametered portion to release gas jets therefrom, thereby preventing an undesirable bounce of the gun barrel at firing. In the gun barrel of the present invention, the total length of the barrel can always be constant and the replacement of chokes is easily made without causing a change in the balance of said barrel. Moreover, an undesirable bounce of the gun barrel is effectively prevented by forming the gas vents in only the upper part of the barrel.
