    摘要: A bullet containment trap (1) with a modular backstop (7) is disclosed. The device (1) with the modular backstop (7) comprises of at least one open ended bullet receiving chamber (4), at least one electronic target assembly (not shown) configured to project at least one target placed at a rear end of the said open-ended bullet receiving chamber (4). The bullet fired compasses the said bullet receiving chamber (04) while in contact with boundary wall and enters a terminal part of said boundary wall over a throat (6) of a passageway and moves through said throat (6) to dissipate on hitting a modular backstop (7) of a deceleration chamber (5). The said modular backstop (7) with at least two impact zones are made by stacking multiple individual armored plates (12) vertically and/or horizontally in to a plurality of cassettes (11), wherein the said cassettes and/or the individual armored plates (12) within each of the said cassettes (11) are all replaceable for deformation.

    摘要: An ecological shooting training panel has a compact metal sheet retained by a first metal support frame, a rhomboid-shaped metal mesh disposed on the compact metal sheet, and a compact layer of elastomeric material covering the rhomboid-shaped metal mesh. The rhomboid-shaped metal mesh is retained by a second metal support frame connected to the first metal support frame. The elastomeric material is spaced from the compact metal sheet to provide an open gap formed by the compact metal sheet, rhomboid-shaped metal mesh and elastomeric material. A target is configured to be removably mounted over the elastomeric material such that when a projectile is fired at the target, the projectile passes through the target and the combined structural arrangement of the compact metal sheet, rhomboid-shaped metal mesh and elastomeric material absorbs an impact energy of the projectile, and residue generated by the projectile drops through the open gap.

    摘要: This device for locating an impact against a transparent interactive surface comprises at least three transducers distributed against the interactive surface and at least one calculator programmed to locate the impact by analysing time differences of propagation of progressive mechanical waves from the impact to the transducers on the basis of instants of impact detection identified in the electrical signals supplied by the transducers. It further comprises: a protective case, integral with the transparent interactive surface, intended to receive at least a portion of an electronic device with a display screen in such a way as to place the display screen facing the transparent interactive surface; means for adjusting the display screen for the centring thereof on a mark carried by a marking on the transparent interactive surface; and a calculator programmed to convert the location of the impact in the transparent interactive surface into a location of the impact in the display screen.

    摘要: A target practice system including reusable cartridges for firearms and a bullet trap for stopping the flight of projectiles from the cartridges. The case of the cartridge is adapted to receive the projectile, or alternative standard cases may be used. The projectile has a cylindrical core of a diameter less than the rifling of the firearm and axially spaced-apart, outwardly opening channels extend circumferentially about the core. Endless resilient rings are inserted into the channels. A powder-receiving hole is provided in the rearward end of the projectile. When fired, the projectile rides on the resilient rings as it travels down the barrel of the firearm. The core does not come in contact with the barrel, and the resilient rings center the core in the barrel during travel down it for improved accuracy. A rocket-like effect is realized from the rearward discharge of gases liberated by combustion. Also, methods of loading the reusable cartridges are disclosed.
