    摘要: A piston/rocket projectile for use within a launcher system having a barrel and method of firing such are presented herein. The projectile comprises a projectile body having a combustion chamber for propellant, a piston moveable to extend out a base of the projectile as a result of ignition of propellant in the combustion chamber, and vents for expulsion of combustion products from the ignition of propellant out of the projectile base after initial movement of the piston. A casing is secured to the base of the projectile body, enclosing the piston and vents prior to the ignition of propellant, and a separable joint is disposed between the casing and the base of the projectile body. Upon ignition of propellant in the combustion chamber, the projectile piston is forced down and the separable joint is caused to separate, leaving the casing in the barrel. After the piston completes exertion of propulsion force, combustion products of the ignition of propellant are expelled through the vents out of a lower end of the projectile and solid combustion byproducts from the ignition of the propellant are collected in the casing.

As a result, safety and a nonlethal effect are achieved, in particular outside the effective range.

    摘要: The invention belongs to a weapon namely to the automatic weapons without ammunition. Particularly it belongs to the weapons using the energy of the explosion mixture gas, flammable liquid or other mixture in the combustion chamber as a mover of bullets. A weapon without ammunition, arranged according to the bullpup scheme, contains: the barrel; the receiver in the form of a cylinder rolling in a rectangular box; the trigger mechanism; the piston for supplying combustible mixture to the combustion chamber and for cooking the compressed air in the mixing tube. This piston is connected by a rod with the piston gas tube; the cylinder full of compressed gas, flammable liquid or other mixture; the drum with several chambers of internal combustion in the form of elongated cylinders. When moving to the trunk a drum is pushed by the nozzle of the lower chamber in the rear part of the bullet and toilet it in the trunk from the top of the camera. This occurs by the rotation around its own axis and longitudinal movement along this axis; the ignition mechanism consisting of a piezoelectric element and the spark; the secondary ignition system consists of a battery and a capacitor; the venting mechanism with the gas tube and piston, in which the gases are directed toward the muzzle; the return mechanism; the multi-function ammunition cartridge of extended capacity, feeding the bullets into the machine vertically. There is a function of the butt, and when you transfer the spare magazines on the body of the soldier there is a function of armor plates.

    摘要: A projectile (14) for an ammunition round (10) for use with a small arms or light firearm comprises an elongated projectile body (16). The projectile body (16) has first and second axially opposed ends (18, 20) respectively and a cavity (20) extending there between. The cavity is able to hold a quantity of propellant (24). A plurality of seals (26) extend about an outer surface of the body (16). The seals (26) protrude radially from the body (16) and operate to form a substantial seal against an inner circumferential surface of a barrel (12) of the firearm. Two of the seals (26b and 26c) are mutually adjacent and spaced apart in a direction of a longitudinal axis of the body to form a seal bound outer surface portion (36) of the body (16). One or more holes (38) are formed in the body (16) enabling fluid communication between the cavity (22) and the seal bound outer surface portion (36) of the body (16). This enables pressure equalization inside and outside of the cavity (22) about the seal bound outer surface portion (36) when the projectile (14) is travelling through the barrel (12).

The sealing ring contains a sealing surface that can be brought into contact with the end face. The sealing surface contains a first region around an annular opening of the sealing ring and a second region around the first region. The second region is set back relative to a tangential surface to the first region. In addition, a propellant charge cartridge for an automatic firearm for caseless ammunition, has at least one of the sealing rings. The propellant charge cartridge preferably contains one or multiple, in particular two, propellant charge chambers, which are provided with a sealing ring on each of the breech side and the projectile cartridge side.

    摘要: According to known techniques for winding an ammunition shell the number of thread layers is often reinforced as compared to the remaining part of the shell wall, especially in those zones of the shell where the load is the highest, thereby, however, inevitably increasing the thickness of the shell wall. If the space for the propelling charge in the wound shell is to be enlarged while the outer geometry of the wound shell remains the same, that is with the same space provided in the weapon for the charge, the wall thickness has to be reduced. In order to provide the shell with the same mechanical stability, despite the reduction in wall thickness, as shells whose wall thickness is not reduced, the wound body of the shell (50) is produced from chemical fibers (53), preferably from synthetic and inorganic chemical fibers.
