Abstract: An apparatus and method for searching for an unregistered detonator in a detonator list and confirming an ID are disclosed. The apparatus is being provided in control equipment and includes a lower first digit ID confirmation request unit that requests a detonator to confirm an ID for a preset lower first digit, a lower first digit ID confirmation unit that receives response data to the ID confirmation request for the preset lower first digit from the detonator, and confirms the ID for the lower first digit of the detonator through the received response data, a full ID confirmation request unit that requests the detonator for which the ID for the lower first digit is confirmed to confirm a full ID, and a full ID confirmation unit that receives response data to the full ID confirmation request from the detonator and searches for and confirms the full ID of the detonator.

Abstract: A tunnel section subjected to grouting reinforcement is divided into two parts, that is, an upper half section and a lower half section, cutting vibration reduction holes used in coordination with cutting holes are formed in the upper half section, and the cutting vibration reduction holes are not charged and are filled with water bags only. According to the blast hole arrangement structure used for blasting for the rheological soft-weak surrounding rock tunnel of the invention, a cutting blasting effect is improved, excess energy is emptied and absorbed, propagation of shock waves and stress waves around is reduced, and vibration is reduced; and according to the invention, the purpose of forming vibration isolation holes in a tunnel excavation contour line of the upper half section is to prevent, absorb, reflect and refract the propagation of the blasting shock waves, stress waves and seismic waves.

Abstract: The invention provides an apparatus and method for preventing surrounding loose rock fragments from falling or collapsing into a blast hole. The apparatus includes a flexible sheet including a pair of spaced apart longitudinally extending side edges and a pair of spaced apart laterally extending end edges. The sheet has a curved form defining a longitudinal passage extending between openings at longitudinally opposite ends, one end of the curved sheet being insertable into the open end of a blast hole whereby the curved sheet closely faces an internal surface of the blast hole and forms a barrier preventing surrounding loose rock fragments from falling or collapsing into the open end of the blast hole. The invention also provides a bench blasting method and a deployment device for deploying the apparatus into a blast hole.

Abstract: A system and apparatus for plasma blasting comprises a borehole, with a novel blast probe, the probe comprising a high voltage electrode and a ground casing tube with a ground and/or electrode deflector. The ground and/or electrode deflector focuses a plasma blast through openings in the probe, directing the blast force away from the ends of the probe, wherein at least a portion of the high voltage electrode and the ground electrode are submerged in the blast media. The blasting media comprises water alone or in combination with other materials. The robust blast probe permits the aiming of the blast outside of the probe.
