    摘要: A roll film, which is wound up on a feeder spool with emulsion surface facing inward on the roll, is turned inside out and is drawn from the feeder spool to a first guide roller. The photo film is turned inside out again while being fed through a second guide roller and is wound up on a take-up spool with the emulsion surface facing inward on the roll. On an inner wall of a film magazine facing the second guide roller, a press roller presses the photo film to prevent loosening of the photo film in a film feeding path from the periphery of the second guide roller to the take-up spool.

    摘要: A camera film feed device is provided for enabling freely loadable placement of a film magazine which has a takeup shaft on which a film is wound and which has a film leader protruding from a film feeding opening. The camera film feed device includes a magazine chamber into which the film magazine is loaded, a fork which joins in mating fashion with the takeup shaft of the film magazine loaded into the magazine chamber, a takeup spool which is positioned on a side of a photographing aperture opposite the magazine chamber and which takes up the film, a sprocket which is positioned between the magazine chamber and the takeup spool, and a control circuit which controls the operations of the fork, takeup spool and sprocket. The control circuit starts an operation by the fork to rewind the film into the film magazine when the film magazine is loaded into the magazine chamber, stops the rewind operation when the film is rewound to a prescribed position, and then starts an operation by the sprocket to feed the film toward the takeup spool.

    摘要: A film drive mechanism for a camera, in which a drive force of a motor is transmitted through a differential gear mechanism to a wind shaft and a rewind shaft and is also transmitted through a screw gear to a spool shaft or a fork shaft whereby, operations of winding and rewinding film are performed. The rewind shaft is placed in such a manner as to be inclined to the drive shaft of the differential gear mechanism. Also, a pair of engaging gears in the drive force transmission device are aligned so that their axes of rotation are oblique to one another. This film drive mechanism requires small space than conventional designs and is small in weight and is advantageous for the cost thereof.

    摘要: The camera of this invention preferably includes a rewind interlock that prevents the double exposure of film. Preferably, the camera of this invention is an Advanced Photo System (APS) camera that employs APS film. Such APS film may be contained in a film cassette that has a light lock door. The rewind interlock prevents thrusting or pulling a frame of film from the film cassette after that frame of film has been exposed and rewound into the film cassette. This prevents the accidental double exposure of a frame of film. In a preferred embodiment of this invention, the rewind interlock prevents thrusting or pulling film from a film cassette after all of the film has been rewound into the film cassette. Preferably, the rewind interlock prevents the thrusting or removing of exposed film from a film cassette. The rewind interlock does this by preventing the film advancing mechanism from being manipulated in a direction that advances film from the film cassette after the exposed film has been rewound into the film cassette. The rewind interlock may be reset to permit the advancement of film from a film cassette by the removal the film cassette from the camera.

    摘要: A manual-wind camera is provided having a wind lever in which a film having no sprocket holes is loaded, the film being wound on a take-up spool, frame by frame, by manually operating the wind lever. The camera includes a pulse generator which generates pulses in accordance with movement of the film wound by the wind lever, and a counter which detects and counts the pulses generated by the pulse generator, the pulse generator and the counter are connected to a control device. The control device detects a film winding speed of the film in accordance with the number of the pulses counted by the counter, wherein the control device adjusts a reference pulse number, which corresponds to a predetermined appropriate winding amount of the film, in accordance with a the film winding speed detected by the control device. An engagement of the wind lever with the take-up spool is released at the moment the adjusted reference pulse number becomes equal to the number of the pulses counted by the counter.

The unexposed film, which is previously wound completely onto the winding drum in the prewind operation, with the winding direction of the film on the winding drum being identical to that of the spool body of the film cassette, is guided from the winding drum, arranged closely alongside the film cassette, in a large radius around the film cassette into the plane of the film gate, with a subsequent, nearly 180°-deflection around the sprocket into the cassette outlet.
