Abstract:
A photographing apparatus, comprising: an imaging optical system; an image sensor which receives a light flux passing through the imaging optical system, captures an image, and outputs an imaging signal; an aperture which is included in the imaging optical system and which includes an opening to restrict the light flux; a controller which performs a first exposure control to control the exposure of the image sensor by changing the opening of the aperture and calculates, based on an imaging signal output by the image sensor, a deviation between an optimal exposure amount and a currently set actual exposure amount; and an imaging control circuit which performs a second exposure control to control the exposure of the image sensor without changing the opening of the aperture, wherein the controller selects either the first exposure control or the second exposure control based on the deviation to control exposure.
Abstract:
According to the first aspect of the present technology, there is provided an action control device, including a transmittance specifying unit configured to specify a transmittance of a variable-transmittance neutral density (ND) filter having a transmittance that varies according to an applied voltage, and an applied voltage control unit configured to control a voltage to be applied to the variable-transmittance ND filter such that the transmittance specified by the transmittance specifying unit is obtained. The applied voltage control unit controls the voltage to be applied to the variable-transmittance ND filter such that the transmittance of the variable-transmittance ND filter specified by the transmittance specifying unit is maintained at a timing at which an imaging preparation instruction or an imaging instruction is given.
Abstract:
A camera with self-timer photographing function has a release button for a release switch operation, a self-timer photographing mode switching button, and the like. A photographing mode for a scene in which only a photographer enters a screen and a photographing mode for a scene in which a plurality of persons are an object to be photographed are switched by the mode switching button in photographing in a self-timer photographing mode. Photographing is executed by an AF (AUTOMATIC FOCUSING) operation performed a self-timer time after in the former mode, photographing is executed by an AF operation performed immediately after a release switch operation in the later ode. According to this camera, in the self-timer photographing, photographing with a correct focus for the state of an object can be always performed without checking the focus in photographing or checking a distance measurement target in a finder.
Abstract:
An exposure mode selecting device uses an A-position AE mode code, an M-position AE mode code, and a no-aperture-ring AE mode code, so that a proper exposure mode is selected. When an interchangeable lens, having an aperture ring being set to an A-position, is attached to a camera body, the A-position AE mode code is set to 0 or 1 so that a program mode or a shutter speed priority mode can be selected. If the aperture ring is set to one of the M-positions, the M-position AE mode code is set to 0, 1 or 2 so that an aperture priority mode, a manual mode or a bulb mode can be selected. When an interchangeable lens having no aperture ring is attached to the camera body, the no-aperture-ring AE mode code is set to 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4 so that the program mode, the shutter speed priority mode, the aperture priority mode, the manual mode or the bulb mode can be selected.
Abstract:
A camera operable in shutter-priority automatic exposure mode comprises a photometric circuit, an exposure data memory circuit for storing information on a plurality of selectable diaphragm openings, and a control circuit for calculating a desirable diaphragm opening based on a shutter speed preset prior to an exposure and luminance data output from the photometric circuit, and determining an actual diaphragm opening based on a comparison between the calculated diaphragm opening and the selectable diaphragm openings. The control circuit checks whether the preset shutter speed is higher or lower than a predefined reference shutter speed and selects one of the selectable diaphragm openings that provides a higher shutter speed if the preset shutter speed is higher than the reference shutter speed, or selects one of the selectable diaphragm openings that provides a lower shutter speed if the preset shutter speed is lower than the reference shutter speed.
Abstract:
The disclosed invention is a multi-mode automatic exposure control camera which operates with selection of various image effects and enables even the beginner to make photographs with less susceptibility to failure. Upon consideration of different image effects, a plurality of combinations of shutter time and aperture value are provided for one mode, and in the usual mode selection, a more frequently used combination is made preferentially selectable to provide an improved operation.
Abstract:
In a photographic camera with an automatic exposure control system, a voltage obtained by a light measuring circuit with reference to a reference voltage based on a film speed is divided into 1/n and (n-1)/n of the voltage. The scene brightness is measured while the diaphragm provided before a photosensor of the light measuring circuit is stopped down until the output voltage of the light measuring circuit becomes equal to 1/n of the voltage. After the output voltage has become 1/n of the voltage, the diaphragm is held in its position and then the shutter speed is controlled according to the (n-1)/n voltage.
Abstract:
In a camera having an exposure factor setting dial positioned adjacent a film winding lever, there is provided a safety device including a movable cover arranged to protrude upwardly from the inside of the camera housing over a top panel thereof to prevent the operator from inadvertently manually altering the setting of the dial, whereby improper actuation of the dial is prevented and the camera is made substantially fool-proof. When the cover is retracted into the camera housing by engagement of a knurled key portion thereof, the operator may actuate the dial to revise the exposure setting.
Abstract:
A photographic camera permits automatic exposure control wherein either the diaphragm aperture setting or the shutter speed setting is preselected while the other is automatically obtained thereafter. Arithmetical operations are electronically performed on various exposure control parameters such as the scene brightness etc., and signals resulting from these operations are used to control the shutter control mechanism or the aperture control mechanism to automatically obtain the shutter speed or diaphragm aperture required for proper exposure.
Abstract:
