    摘要: A photographic exposure control system incorporating a multizone shutter arrangement and a photoresponsive array, with each element of the array being responsive to one of a plurality of spacially oriented areas of the photographic scene and in control of one shutter zone which transmits image-carrying rays from that scene area to a pictorially corresponding area of the film to selectively compress the range of scene brightness to within the linear range of the film thereby enhancing shadow detail. In the illustrated embodiment, the exposure system in effect controls the multi-zone shutter to expose film areas corresponding to bright scene areas, having a relative brightness falling within the linear range of the film, at one exposure factor and film areas corresponding to darker scene areas at a greater exposure factor.

    摘要: An electromagnetic shutter for a photographic lens is disclosed. The shutter comprises an optical stop mounted between focusing elements with a flap mounted for rotating substantially along one side of said stop. The flap has a first position in which it blocks the passage of light through the stop and a second position in which it is removed therefrom. An electromagnetic means for rotating the flap from its first position to its second position comprises a permanent magnet mounted on said rotatable shaft and an electromagnet having a horseshoe-shaped core with two poles which surround the permanent magnet. When the electromagnet is energized, the magnetic field produced causes said permanent magnet and attached shaft to rotate, thereby rotating the flap from its first position to its second position and thereby opening the shutter. A spring returns the flap to its first position when the electromagnet is not energized, thereby closing the shutter.

    摘要: This invention relates to a single-lens mirror reflex camera for studio purposes, with which the exposure-determining film exposure, within a prescribed opening time of the shutter, is effected during the duration of a flashlight initiated by the camera. A shutter cap is provided which is formed as a swivellable, light-tight return swinging mirror. Such cap is fixed on a driveable shaft, and is held by means of a return spring in the rest position completing the optical system of the viewfinder. The cap also carries at least one contact element of a control switch for the flashlight, of which the coacting contact is arranged on a stop limiting the open position.

    摘要: A shutter mechanism for a camera has a plurality of shutter elements each of which is associated with a predetermined elemental area of a photosensitive film frame located behind the shutter mechanism. Each of the shutter elements is selectively operable independently of the other elements for transmitting light from a scene being photographed to the film area with which the shutter element is associated. Initial acutation of the shutter mechanism causes simultaneous opening of each shutter element for initiating exposure. Then, each shutter element is independently closed in accordance with a predetermined amount of light being incident on the given film area. Thus, the amount of light incident on various elemental areas of the film frame is independently controlled to compress the range of scene brightness to within the linear range of the film.
