    摘要: Case clocks, especially of the so-called tall-case or grandfather type, equipped with at least one suspended elongated weight, preferably contained within a weight shell or casing, are provided with at least one narrow annular memorializing band surrounding the weight or shell and retained thereon, the annular band carrying on an exposed surface indicia commemorating a particular event to be memorialized. Preferably, the memorializing band slidably encircles the weight or shell, the latter including at its lower end a radially projecting detent, of bead shape for example, to limit the downward movement of the band. A plurality of such bands can be stacked vertically end-to-end on each weight or shell. The weight and bands are visually exposed through doors or other openings or transparent panels in the clock case.

    摘要: Clock with mechanical movement motif that incorporates a clock movement with a movement of a selected mechanical part. The clock may be wall mounted or may include an upright stand having a base and an attachment to a mounting frame. The mounting frame includes an adapter flange for attachment of a clock works mechanism. The movement shafts of the clock mechanism are carried through an aperture extending through a face of the mounting frame. A front face of the mounting frame includes a spindle with index notches for cooperative engagement with a clock face. A bushing has an inner diameter that is adapted to be rotationally carried on the shouldered region of the spindle. An outer diameter of the bushing is adapted to carry a bore of a mechanical part. A motor and drive sprocket are coupled to the bushing for rotation of the mechanical part about the spindle.

This profiled disk (20) has at least one axially movable flexible tongue (31 through 34), which engages a support surface ring (9) of the drive gear. The second profiled disk (21) is designed as a mute disk and holds together the parts which are otherwise seated loosely on the shaft (1).

    摘要: The device for pivoting an arbor about a determined axis includes at least one magnetic bearing including a magnet which exerts a force of attraction on a pivot, made of magnetic material, of the arbor. Further, the bearing includes a magnetic flux centring structure arranged between the magnet and the pivot, and a support for the centring structure. This centring structure includes a peripheral portion and a central portion resiliently connected to the peripheral portion by at least one connecting element, the central portion being formed of a highly magnetically permeable material and having smaller dimensions than those of the magnet. The peripheral portion is rigidly force fitted to the support so that the central portion is centred on the pivot axis.
