    摘要: An electric guitar has an electromagnetic resonating unit (3) which is arranged to resonate the strings (2) of the guitar, either individually or together. The resonance of each string is picked up by a pick-up unit (4), and the frequency of resonation of the string is detected and compared with a desired value. A tension adjusting unit (5) adjusts the tension in each string (2) until the frequency of resonance of the string correponds to the desired frequency, in order to tune the guitar to a desired tuning pattern. A control panel (6) on the body (1) of the guitar displays optional tuning patterns which may be selected by a user. Automatic tuning of the guitar may be achieved, without requiring the strings to be plucked manually.

    摘要: A vessel-shaped flute has a body and a captive cap. The cap is pivotally attached to the body with a pivot pin. A through hole is defined through the pivot pin. Consequently, the cap can cover the mouthpiece and all of the finger holes when the vessel-shaped flute is not in use. Protection is provided to the mouthpiece and finger holes to prevent them from being damaged or getting dirty. In addition, a cord can be threaded through the through hole. The user can wear the vessel-shaped flute as a necklace. The use and the decorative effect of the vessel-shaped flute are improved.

    摘要: This invention is of a mechanism which controls the timbre and the volume of flute sound. More concrete explanation of the device is as follows. This device enables the players to control the various color and the volume of the sound and perform with unique tone regardless to what material each flute is made up of. A blocking piece is positioned behind the cork of the head joint which forms a flute along with the body and the foot joint, and a connecting piece is installed on the control cap in a spiral assembly. The oscillation wave caused by the air pressure inserted through the mouthpiece of the head joint goes through the cork and is transferred to the blocking piece and the connecting piece with different weights reflecting some part of the wave and absolving the other at the same time. Thus this wave will change into different oscillating waves which makes the variety of tone color and volume possible, the most characteristic point this mechanism serves for.

    摘要: In a fipple flute, an instrument body includes an outer surface defining an interior resonating cavity. An airway extends from the outer surface into the resonating cavity and includes a nozzle section as well as a throat section. The instrument body defines an upper surface having a plurality of toneholes extending therethrough into the resonating cavity such that when the toneholes are covered or uncovered by a user while blowing into the airway, different notes are played by the fipple flute. At least one fipple window extends through the upper surface of the instrument body adjacent to and aligned with the throat section of the airway to allow a portion of the air blown into the flute to enter the resonating cavity and a portion of the air to exit the fipple window.
