    摘要: A thermostat includes a wall plate unitarily molded of thermoplastic resin, a first metal plate holding a temperature sensing section, and a second metal plate holding a cam shaft. A fulcrum of a lever and a fulcrum of adjusting plate are protected by the wall plate and they are not exposed to the outside. Since both the fulcrums are not exposed to the outside, the fulcrums are free from being touched with foreign matters. This thermostat thus prevents a temperature set therein from changing.

    摘要: There is provided a battery breaker comprising a case, a fixed contact which is mounted to the inner bottom surface of one end of the case and is connected to a terminal extending from the case outwards, an elastic movable piece which is mounted such that its tip end protrudes into the case through the other end of the case and allows a movable contact provided at the tip end to bring into contact with the fixed contact by the spring action, and a convex curved surface-shaped bimetal which has a warping center located in the substantial center or at a position slightly one-sided from the center, is placed between the movable piece and the inner bottom surface except for the above one end of the case so as to cover a projection provided on the above inner bottom surface without interference of an outer periphery of the bimetal with the inner side surfaces of the case, and is warped at a predetermined working temperature to push up the movable piece for separating the movable contact from the fixed contact, wherein the movable piece has downwardly convex portions brought into contact with the opposite ends of the bimetal when the bimetal is warped.

    摘要: A condition-responsive electric switch mechanism for use in controlling a compressor of a refrigeration appliance. The switch mechanism includes first, second and third terminals, an actuator movable as a function of a detected condition and a bistable spring switch element electrically connected to the first terminal. The spring switch element includes a movable contact and is adapted for snap-acting movement between an open and a closed position. In the open position, the movable contact of the spring switch element is spaced apart from a fixed contact mounted on the second terminal. In the closed position, the movable contact engages the fixed contact to electrically connect the first and second terminals. The spring switch element also includes a toggle blade operable by engagement with the actuator for motion through a first switch point. At the first switch point, the spring switch element snaps between the open and closed positions. The toggle blade is operable by further engagement with the actuator for motion past the first switch point to a second switch point. At the second switch point, the toggle blade electrical connects the first and third terminals to enable an alarm.
