    摘要: The present invention is a starting method for brushless DC motor and a device for the same, especially adapted to provide the starting method for a single-phase DC brushless motor in an open circuit and the device for the same. According to the art as disclosed in the present invention, there are two successive steps in starting a motor. An oscillator signal is transmitted to the driver at first, which causes the motor to oscillate in both clockwise and counter-clockwise direction. An operating signal is then sent to cause the motor to rotate normally in one direction once the motor is out of the dead initiating position. By that the rotor can be triggered out of the dead initiating position when the motor is going to start and the motor can be smoothly operated under the low cogging torque.

    摘要: A method of starting an electric brushless rotating machine is provided where a large startup torque is obtained with no use of any rotor position detecting device and the forced commutation can be switched to normal energization easily and smoothly. At the startup stage, any two of three-phase stator windings are energized for initial magnetization (Steps S1 and S2) to hold the magnetic rotor at a position. Then, the windings of the phases are energized in a sequence while gradually increasing the level of the energization (Step S3). During the forced commutation, the magnetic rotor is rotated by a rotating position detecting signal generated from a voltage signal induced on the not-energized windings to drive the output shaft of an engine. Then, the energization is canceled when the number of revolutions in the internal combustion engine determined from the rotating position detecting signal reaches its predetermined level.

    摘要: A device and method for driving a polyphase DC motor, in which a phase selector circuit, in each case, selects only one phase, which is fed to a commutation detection circuit. After each commutation detected by a commutation detection circuit, as a result of a pulse of constant duration generated by a monoflop, the phase discriminator circuit and, as a consequence, the commutation logic are advanced in a fixed and preestablished sequence. This occurs irrespective of the rotation direction of the motor using the sequential logic device embodied by the commutation logic. When the motor rotates in the preferred direction, constant current-flow angles of 120° are achieved for each phase. When the motor rotates in the reverse direction, markedly varying current-flow angles of the individual phases are generated, and these varying current-flow angles, as a function of the course of the specifically corresponding voltages induced in the individual phases, result in a counter-torque. This counter-torque causes a braking of the motor to a standstill and a reliable startup in the preferred direction. The exemplary electronics, in this context, do not distinguish between the two rotation directions so that no additional electronics expense is required to reliably startup from a reverse rotation condition.

    摘要: Device and method are provided for starting a brushless motor easily enables reliable motor starting, and prevents overcurrent supply when starting the motor. The permanent magnet rotor is firstly positioned by supplying current from one phase to another phase (or the other two phases) before starting the motor. The motor is then started by controlling the switch-operation of the switching devices of the inverter based on output signals from Hall ICs which detect the pole position of the magnet rotor. Thus positioning the rotor before starting motor ensures output of stable Hall IC signals, and enables the brushless motor to be started without affection of electrical noise or the slight moving of the magnet rotor.
