摘要:
Embodiments of the present invention relate to the arts garment, and, in particular, ballet tights for adults and adolescents for use during classes, rehearsals, and performances. The subject tights offer a redesign of the existing waistband by one or more of, and preferably all of, the following: removing the elastic component of the traditional waistband, and Nylon the use of flat and thinner seams, extra soft yarn with a tight knit weave, a V-shape seam to follow the natural female pelvic structure, a crotch size to fit most, if not all, vagina shapes and sizes, a double layer moisture wicking built-in underwear with G-string and a full back in the rear, and appropriate cut outs on the bottom of foot.

A double layer sock and a sock having a seam under the toes of a wearer are described. The sock includes a tubular outer layer and an inner layer. The tubular outer layer includes a foot portion and a leg portion. The foot portion defines a foot bottom portion and an upper instep portion. The inner layer includes a number of edges that define a perimeter and is substantially aligned with the foot bottom portion of the tubular outer layer. One of the yarns extends between the inner layer and the tubular outer layer to connect the inner layer and the tubular outer layer around the perimeter of the inner layer and at spaced apart wales and courses. A region of the double layer sock corresponding to the upper instep portion is single-layered while a region of the double layer sock corresponding to the foot bottom portion is double-layered.

An improved pair of socks is disclosed for human feet. The improvement comprises providing a distinctive color indicator on each sock of the pair, in a location that will be covered by the shoe of the wearer, to facilitate pairing of the socks which comprise the pair, wherein the color of the indicator is selected so as to be capable of distinguishing the socks of the pair from other socks of similar or like color and of the same size. A process is also disclosed for making pairs of socks of a predetermined size including a color indicator for facilitating pairing of socks.

Concepts provided are directed to a sock having a toe seam that is primarily located on a lateral side of the sock. The sock may comprise a foot locating feature to ensure that the wearer dons a right footed sock on a right foot and a left footed sock on a left foot so that the toe seam is localized to the lateral side of the wearer's foot when the sock is worn by the wearer.

Aspects herein are directed to a sock having a plurality of toe-anchor knit courses that form a toe anchor that divides a toe-end opening of the sock into a first toe-end opening and a second toe-end opening by extending across the toe-end opening from a dorsal portion of the toe-end opening to a plantar portion of the toe-end opening. The toe-anchor knit courses are integrally knit with the sock body.

A sock with a drop-front pouch may be utilized to expose the toes of a wearer for personal or medical purposes. The sock may have an overflap with a slot in an instep seam. Alternatively, a zipper may be utilized in the instep seam.
摘要:
A sock includes: an elongated toe-area to cover at least all phalanges of all toes of a foot of a wearer of the sock; a sole area to cover a sole of the foot; and an ankle area to at least partially cover an ankle of the foot. The elongated toe-area is distinct from other areas of the sock. The elongated toe-area extends backwardly towards the ankle, covering part of the sole of the foot; optionally covering between 25 to 50 percent of the length of the foot. Optionally, the toe-area is a split toe-area having two or more sub-regions. Optionally, the elongated toe-area is a non-symmetrical trapezoid elongated toe-area.

Stocking toe end closing apparatus of the type having a series of horizontal stocking turning tubes mounted on a rotatable base for indexing to a position for spreading stocking toe ends carried on the supports, and for further indexing to a seaming position where the stocking toe ends are closed. The turning tubes are connected to a suction source at index positions before and after the spreading and closing positions for everting stockings thereat. Spreading fingers are inserted into the open free ends of the supported stockings at the spreading position and expand through longitudinal slots in the tubes for lateral spreading of the stocking toe ends to a width suitable for seaming, and the fingers are then moved away from the support end in a diagonal direction with respect to the elongation of the tubes in synchronism with the index motion of the tube, so that the stocking toe end is carried by the fingers to a position where the fingers and the toe end extremity lie beyond an arcuate clamp which then engages the widespread toe end in position for rotation of the clamp and the toe end extremity past a sewing machine for closing. Tubular guards with matching longitudinal slots are provided for exposing alignment and shielding non-alignment with the slots in the tube ends to prevent interference with the everting of stockings by the tube end slots. Exhaust air produced from the same suction source that provides suction for everting stockings is passed through a nozzle adjacent the clamp onto the toe end extremity for directing it into the sewing machine. The clamp rotates in reverse direction after seaming to pay out the stocking which has wrapped partly around it during seaming, in synchronism with the index motion of the stocking support away from the seaming position. An endless belt is supported in deflected engagement with the stocking tube at the seaming index position, and during a portion of its index motion to and away from that position, as a means of restraining the stocking from sliding off the support as it is partially withdrawn for positioning the toe end at the sewing machine and by wrapping around the clamp during seaming.
