摘要: The invention relates to a sock (10). The sock (10) has a sole part (100) which is suitable for covering the sole of a foot (1) when the sock (10) is being worn. Furthermore, a toe region (200) of the sock (10) is suitable, together with the sole part (100), for receiving the entire toe region of the foot (1) when the sock (10) is being worn. The sock (10) furthermore comprises an instep part (300) which is suitable for at least partially covering the arch of the foot (1) when the sock (10) is being worn. A heel part (400) of the sock (10) is suitable for covering the heel of the foot (1) when the sock (10) is being worn. The sock (10) comprises an ankle closure part (600) which is suitable for closing the sock (10) in a releasable manner at the ankle of the foot (1) when the sock (10) is being worn.

摘要: A footlet is provided with a heel portion formed by knitting, a toe portion, and a middle portion located between the heel portion and the toe portion. The middle portion comprises lateral sides that extend between the heel portion and the toe portion on either side. The heel portion is provided with a knitted elastic band forming an edge, which is provided with an anti-slip element applied thereto on a side facing the toe portion. The anti-slip element has been applied to the elastic band after the knitting of at least the elastic band.

摘要: A footlet provided with a part manufactured on an apparatus for reciprocating knitting by knitting. The part comprises a ring-shaped opening limited by an edge and an elastic strip extending along the edge of the opening. The elastic strip comprises an elastic tape attached to the edge of the knitted part by an adhesive. During applying the elastic strip the knitted part of the ring-shaped opening is cut off at least partly along the edge so that a lateral side of the elastic strip almost coincides with a lateral side of the edge of the ring-shaped opening.

摘要: A therapeutic medical garment having a variable pressure profile along its length, and including a knitted tubular body and a knitted anti-slip portion formed proximate one end of the tubular body with an inner surface adapted for residing against a wearer's skin. The knitted anti-slip portion includes at least first, second and third yarns simultaneously knitted to form a repeat having a raised surface texture on the inner surface of the anti-slip portion. One of the first, second and third yarns is a low-friction yarn, and two of the first, second and third yarns are high-friction yarns knitted to reside on and form the raised surface texture on the inner face of the anti-slip portion. A fabric construction and a method of forming a fabric construction are also disclosed.
