Abstract: A flanged interlocking molding is provided for use in toilet partitions or other partitions, and which eliminates the sight lines along each edge of the partition door. The flanged interlocking molding, formed of a single piece of material can be arranged on a component of the partition, such as a door and/or a pilaster. The flanged interlocking molding comprises a body portion; a first arm extending from a first edge of the body portion; a flange comprising include parallel layers of the metallic material including a first layer extending in a first direction away from the body portion, and a second layer extending from the first layer in a direction opposite the first direction; and a second arm extending from the second layer of the, the second arm including an edge arranged parallel to an edge of the first arm with a gap formed therebetween.

Abstract: An automatic tool changer includes first and second tool change units that is driven respectively by a pair of servo motors and move along an arrangement direction of a plurality of tools installed on a tool installation unit, a torque detection unit that detects a torque of each of the pair of servo motors, and a control device that controls operations of the first and second tool change units. The control device fixes the first tool change unit at a reference position, and moves the second tool change unit toward the first tool change unit. The control device determines, based on a torque change of each servo motor, that a plurality of upper tools are brought together at the first tool change unit as a result of a movement of the second tool change unit.

Abstract: A bending machine includes hydraulic cylinders capable of adjusting an inclination state, eccentric shaft units, and a control device. The control device sets an inclination state of the upper table and also sets a curved state of the lower table to conform to the inclination state of the upper table in order to carry out partial bending to pressurize a limited pressurized range compared to a pressurized range in which a workpiece is pressurized by using entire areas of an upper tool and a lower tool in a lateral direction. The control device changes a combination of the inclination state of the upper table and the curved state of the lower table and repeats the partial bending while causing a transition of the limited pressurized range in order to carry out entire area bending to pressurize the workpiece over an entire area in the lateral direction.

Abstract: There is provided a press brake that can improve forming accuracy in partial bending. A press brake includes: a conveying mechanism that intermittently conveys a workpiece; a die including a pair of shoulder portions and a groove portion located between the pair of shoulder portions, the pair of shoulder portions being arranged away from each other in a conveying direction of the workpiece and supporting a rear surface of the workpiece; a backup plate that extends on the pair of shoulder portions, covers the groove portion, and is interposed between the die and the workpiece; and a punch that moves relative to the die so as to approach the die each time the conveying mechanism stops conveying the workpiece and presses the workpiece so as to bend the workpiece within an elastic deformation region of the backup plate.

Abstract: A system for shaping a workpiece, which may be in the form of a structural framing component, includes a tool with first and second indenting blades for indenting the workpiece as driven by a blade control apparatus. The workpiece is supported at the tool by one or more workpiece support modules that are each selectively and removably securable to the tool. A base plate is provided at the tool for removably securing the workpiece support modules to the tool without having to detach the tool from a platform of substructure. The workpiece support modules may therefore be quickly replaced to coordinate with workpieces of various size and shape.
