摘要: A portable belt cutting device comprises a cutting head and cutting blade movably arranged on the cutting head. The cutting head has a drive mechanism to move the blade from a retracted position to an extended position, such that the blade severs the belt. The drive mechanism may be coupled to the blade such that the blade is actively driven in both directions between the retracted position and the extended position. In some embodiments, the drive mechanism may comprise a drive spindle which may engage a thread formed in the cutting head. The spindle may be bi-directionally movable and comprise a torque input geometry. In another embodiment the drive spindle and blade comprise connecting elements that form a positive connection when engaged.

摘要: A blade assembly includes a support frame, a cutting blade, a motor to drive the cutting blade, a support shaft operatively coupled to the support frame to permit pivotal movement of the support frame, and an actuator operatively coupled to the support frame to reciprocally move the slicing assembly between an extended position and a retracted position. When the slicing assembly is in the extended position, a plane of the cutting blade is substantially co-planar with a cutting plane of the food product, and the cutting blade slices the food product. Conversely, when the slicing assembly is in the retracted position, the plane of the cutting blade is disposed at a predetermined angle away from the cutting plane of the food product, and the cutting blade does not contact the food product.

摘要: According to the present invention there is provided a method of projecting images of sewing patterns as templates onto fabrics. The contemplated application for the invention includes sewist making an article of clothing. As such, images of the patterns to be sewn are stored in a storage device for latter access from a computing device that sends them to a projecting device for projection. The projecting devices is then positioned, graduated, calibrated, and set for optimizing the cutting of the fabric. Thereafter, the operator may interactively modify the projected image, and as such initiates the cutting of the fabric, in accordance to the projected sewing patterns.

摘要: A rotary die apparatus and method for three-axes registration error correction. The rotary die apparatus includes a rotary die for applying patterns to a strip of material, a sensor for sensing fiducials on the strip of material, actuators to adjust the rotary die, and a control system. The actuators adjust the rotary die along an X-axis extending along a direction of travel, along a Y-axis transverse of the direction of travel, and about a theta axis perpendicular to the X-axis and the Y-axis. The control system calculates a registration error based on a difference between an actual location or orientation of the fiducials and a desired location or orientation of the fiducials. Then the control system outputs control signals to the actuators to adjust the rotary die along the X-axis, along the Y-axis, and/or about the theta axis while the rotary die continues to rotate.

摘要: A food processing attachment for a food processing device includes a rotational adapter configured to be selectively coupled with a drive system of the food processing device. A food holder is coupled to the rotational adapter and having a base, wherein the food holder is selectively rotated by the rotational adapter. A central spear extends perpendicularly from a center of the base. A plurality of radial flanges extend perpendicularly from the base, wherein each radial flange of the plurality of flanges is discontinuous with the other radial flanges, wherein the central spear and the plurality of radial flanges are adapted to secure a food item in a processing space and in communication with the rotational adapter. A blade is coupled to an operable carriage and is adapted to selectively engage the food item within the processing space to remove at least a portion of the food item.
