摘要: The wheel chock handling unit includes a base, an articulated cantilever arm assembly, a main spring assembly and a force-compensation mechanism. The arm assembly has a first end pivotally mounted to the base for angular displacement of the arm assembly in a substantially vertical plane between a storage position and an extended position. It also has a second end receiving a wheel chock. The main spring assembly extends between the arm assembly and the base. The force-compensation mechanism includes a lever pivotally mounted to the base for angular displacement in a plane that is substantially parallel to that of the arm assembly.

A gripping surface defined on at least one of the faces. A handle, for being grasped by a user, disposed on either one of the sides or one of the faces adjacent the face defining the gripping surface. A magnet disposed along one of the sides of the base member, such that at least a portion of the magnet is recessed within the base member. The magnet allows the chock to have a stowed position in which the device is magnetically coupled with a ferrous surface of an equipment, and an in use position in which the chock is positioned near a wheel.

摘要: Provided is a chocking device, including a frame, a plate, and a stop. The frame has an uppermost surface and a lowermost surface opposite the uppermost surface. The plate has a contact surface and is movable between a first position, wherein a portion of the contact surface is substantially coextensive with the uppermost surface of the frame, and a second position, wherein the portion of the contact surface is between the uppermost and lowermost surface of the frame. The stop is coupled to the frame and arranged in direct contact with the plate. The stop is rotatable such that movement of the plate from the first position to the second position rotates the stop from a first to a second stop position. The plate is movable such that the contact surface is substantially parallel when the plate is in the first and second positions.

The first wheel chock is attached at a bottom end of the first arm and the second wheel chock is positioned at a bottom end of the second arm. 摘要: A compression wheel chock system is disclosed. The system is comprised of two, triangular-shaped devices having longitudinal channels and a lanyard. An object of the apparatus is to enhance wheel chocking by preventing a wheel from moving both fore and aft while chocked. During installation, the lanyard is fed through a channel in each chock and is drawn tight by the user. As the lanyard is tightened it compresses the chocks around the wheel while at the same time compressing the channels and securing the lanyard therein.
