摘要: A tilt-decoupled steering device of a motorbike includes a handlebar bridge which receives a handlebar, a fork bridge which receives a fork leg, and a decoupling element connecting the handlebar bridge to the fork bridge. The handlebar bridge (11) is rotatable about a steering axis and is secured about a tilt axis orthogonal to the steering axis. The fork bridge is rotatable about the steering axis and about the tilt axis. The decoupling element is elastic and is designed to transfer a steering movement in a steering direction about the steering axis from the handlebar bridge to the fork bridge, and to compensate for a tilting movement in a tilting direction about the tilt axis of the fork bridge relative to the handlebar bridge via elastic deformation.

摘要: A bicycle includes a frame, a front fork, a fixed stop member fixed in relation to the frame, a bearing member that supports the front fork relative to the frame for rotation about a steering axis, and a compression ring. The compression ring includes a body portion between the bearing member and the front fork and a stop portion rotationally aligned with the fixed stop member to inhibit over-rotation of the front fork relative to the frame. The stop portion comprises a second material that is harder than the first material of the body portion. For example, the stop portion can include a contact surface that contacts the fixed stop member when the front fork is sufficiently rotated, and the contact surface can comprise the second material. In one embodiment, the second material comprises one or more of aluminum, titanium, ceramic, and steel. The body portion can be formed as an overmold on the stop portion.

摘要: A shock-absorbing front fork for a bicycle includes an inner part securely inserted in the crown of the front fork. The inner part includes multiple first slots and second slots defined axially in the outside thereof. Each first slot receives a pin therein, and each second slot receives a roller therein. A rod extends through a dust-proof unit, a first ring and a spring. The lower section of the rod is connected to the top end of the inner part. An outer part is a tube which includes multiple first grooves and second grooves defined axially in the inner periphery thereof. The outer part is mounted to the inner part. The pins are partially accommodated in the first grooves, and the rollers are partially accommodated in the second grooves. The outer part is axially movable relative to the inner part by the pins and the rollers with less friction.

摘要: A handlebar is supported by an upper bracket of a motorcycle through a handlebar holder. The handlebar holder includes a lower end portion supported by the upper bracket and an upper end portion to support the handlebar. A holder shank is provided in a lower end of the handlebar holder, and has a tip end portion formed with a male thread. A holder shank throughhole is formed in the upper bracket, through which throughhole the holder shank extends. The holder shank throughhole accommodates therein a tubular elastic mount member for suppressing transmission of vibrations. The holder shank is passed through a holder shank insertion hole formed on an inner side of the elastic mount member, and an elastic member is interposed forwardly and rearwardly of the elastic mount member situated between the handlebar holder and the upper bracket.

摘要: An elastomerically cushioned cycle stem, referred to as an e-stem, connects a cycle handlebar to a cycle fork steerer tube. The e-stem has a rigid interchangeable swingarm that rotates, i.e., pivots about an axis located behind a steerer tube bore of the base. A fastener rotationally secures the swingarm to the base and clamps the base to the steerer tube. An interchangeable elastomeric block, engaged by the base and swingarm, absorbs impacts from the road or trail, as the swingarm pivots. The base sides provide interior rotational abutments to the arms of the swingarm, the abutments buttress the pivoting swingarm to provide lateral rigidity of the swingarm relative to the base. The e-stem is adjusted using a plurality of swingarm configurations to alter the stem length and offset, and using a plurality of elastomeric block properties.
