    摘要: A geotextile container has a bag section, a cover section and a stuffing space. The bag section has a bag cloth, a bag non-woven fabric and a trapezoidal longitudinal section. The cover section is integrally connected with the bag section and has a cover cloth and a cover non-woven fabric. The stuffing space is formed inside the bag section and has a first margin portion. A longitudinal section of the stuffing space is trapezoidal. The first margin portion is formed at a side of a bottom of the stuffing space. The first margin portion can be immediately unfolded and contain filling materials once the geotextile container is projected into the sea.

    摘要: An offshore marine structure setting and recovery device and method that can lift great loads offshore. The unit consists of a conventional deck cargo barge fitted with one or more rails running almost the entire length of the barge. A horizontal jacking unit runs along the rail or rails. Pivotally attached to the horizontal jacking unit is an inclined jacking unit that is connected to the grappling arm by a rack and pinion. The grappling arm has attached to it grappling devices that will grab and hold the vertical or inclined members of the marine structure. At one end of the grappling arm is a buoyancy tank that can be filled with either water or air to make the grappling arm and buoyancy tank float or sink. The device will be moved up to a marine structure, clamp itself onto the structure and then pull the structure over. The buoyancy tanks will then be filled with air, transporting the marine structure to the surface. The horizontal jacking unit will then pull the unit up and onto the deck of the barge. The barge will then transport the marine structure to shore. To set a marine structure offshore the same procedure will be used but in reverse order.

    摘要: A hopper craft has a cargo space and a plurality of discharge openings in the bottom of the cargo space each of which is opened and closed by a vertically movable valve. Bulkheads extend across the cargo space between the discharge openings; and each valve has an upright plate that is perpendicular to and guided in the bulkheads. On one side of the upright plates, the bulkheads have passages therethrough for pumping out the cargo instead of discharging the cargo by moving the valves vertically. Vertically swinging plates are pivoted to the side wall of the cargo space on the same side as those through passages. In their upwardly swung positions, the latter plates cooperate with the firstmentioned plates to close off the through passages when carrying a cargo that is to be pumped. The vertically swinging plates can then be swung down when the cargo is to be pumped. If the cargo is to be discharged through the valves, however, then the vertically swinging plates are maintained in their down position during loading so that all the cargo space is available.
