    摘要: A glass container that includes a base defining a hole, and methods of manufacturing and using the glass container, is disclosed. The glass container is manufactured by providing the container and cutting a hole in a wall of the container. The hole may be cut into the wall by any technique in which glass material is separated from the wall including by mechanical shearing, thermal energy, and/or fluid impingement. To use the glass container, a deformable blow-out plug may be inserted into the hole to fluidly seal the hole, a liquid beverage may be introduced into the container, a closure may be coupled to the container to close the container and provide a pressurizable package, and thereafter the package may be internally pressurized by introducing a pressurizing gas into the package.

    摘要: The present invention is a bottle that can be transformed into a glass. The bottle includes a first portion for holding a first serve of a beverage, and a second portion adapted for holding a second serve of the beverage. The second portion and the first portion are configured to removably engage to each other using an engaging mechanism. The bottle further includes one or more closure members that removably engage to the second portion or are retained within a void region within the first portion. Further, when the bottle is in use, the closure member is removed and connected on top of the first portion to form the glass in order to consume the first serve of the beverage contained therein, and if needed, refill the glass with the second serve of the beverage contained in the second portion.

    摘要: A container is openable and reclosable at two substantially and mutually opposite ends, and includes a base from which a side wall rises, which converges to form a neck ending in a first opening closed by a cap. The container includes a second opening near or at the base and closed by a tongue, which is a portion of the base. By virtue of the second opening, when the container is nearly empty, the residual substance deposited at the base can be easily taken through the second opening. The base can be disconnected and reconnected to the side wall. In this case, the second opening extends over the entire base of the container. Alternatively, it can include at least one wall partitioning the interior into multiple compartments extending end-to-end, each provided with a first and a second opening at the two ends.
