摘要： The present invention relates to a drive mechanism for vertical opening and closing of coke oven doors of horizontal coke oven chambers. The doors are lifted via a chain or a rope into the opened position. The rope or the chain is linked via deflector rollers to an actuating lever. The rope or chain can be pulled horizontally so that the doors are pulled-up vertically via the deflector rollers. The actuating lever is linked to a pull eye which upon actuation of the actuating lever can engage into the gripping cam of a gripping car. The gripping car is driven by a rope tackle and upon actuation of the actuating lever it pulls the door into the opened position. The door can be arrested via a suitable mechanism in its opened position.

摘要： The invention relates to a device for tilting and turning coke-oven doors for the purpose of maintenance and repair. It comprises a door-receiving support frame with upper guide rollers, which are guided in a guide rig having parallel rail pairs. At the lower end of the support frame a firmly connected drive device engages, which is movable on a raised horizontal rail track. The drive device pulls the support frame from the vertical into the horizontal position and pushes it back into the vertical position. The guide rig includes a vertical part and an inwardly extending part contiguous thereto. The center between the guide rig on the coke side and the guide rig on the machine side is interrupted. The rail pairs end at the bottom in sturdy stops for the guide roller. The invention is thus an accident proof tilting device, with sufficient space for repair purposes being available on the working platform.

摘要： This invention provides an apparatus for the single spot servicing of a coke oven on the coke side of an oven battery. The apparatus includes a turret with oven servicing heads affixed thereto and mounted for rotational movement on the free end of a support arm which is mounted for pivotal movement about a fixed point on the car. Pantographic like linkage is provided to coordinate the rotational and pivotal movement of the turret assembly. A coke guide carriage is mounted for reciprocal movement along a rail system consisting of two rails in an angled relationship. The carriage and turret are mounted on the car to permit the sequential indexing of these servicing devices for use at a selected oven in the battery without repositioning of the servicing car relative to the battery.

摘要： A coke guide machine includes a shuttle car carried by rails on a coke bench for a battery of coke ovens. Movable along the shuttle car is a carriage having two support stations that are rotatable about a common vertical axis. The support stations include scissor arms that form extendible support devices, one of which carries a handling device for a coke oven door and the other carries a device adapted to clean exposed sealing surfaces of an emptied coking chamber. The carriage also supports a coke guide including an extendible section to bridge an open passageway wherein an inspection car moves along the coke bench between the shuttle car and the coke ovens. A door cleaning machine is positioned in a stationary manner on the shuttle car to clean a coke oven door carried to it by the door handling device after 180.degree. rotation by the support station and movement of the carriage along the shuttle car in a manner to concurrently align the opened coking chamber with the device adapted to clean exposed sealing surfaces thereof.

摘要： An elongated oven or furnace has a sidewall provided with at least one closable opening for the extraction of slag. A slagremoving carriage is movable along the sidewall and has a slagguide chute having two-spaced parallel walls each composed of a section closer to and a section farther from the sidewall. The sections which are farther from the sidewall extend substantially normal to the latter, as do the other sections when the device is in operative condition, but the sections farther spaced from the sidewall are movable to a position of at least substantial parallelism with the sidewall when desired.
