    摘要: A temporary closure device for an opening element on a fixed chassis part of a motor vehicle, in which the opening element includes a housing for receiving a lock and the fixed part includes at least one tapped hole for fixing a strike. The device includes a plastic body equipped with means for mounting it in the tapped hole. An end of the device includes a limit stop element that co-operates with a first rim of the housing as the opening element is closed, while another end of the device includes a means for retaining the opening element in the closed position against the fixed part, which is intended to penetrate the housing behind a second rim thereof. The retaining means is formed by a resilient tongue, which can bend under stress from the second rim when the opening element is moved from the free position to the closed position.

A charging device charges a portion of a driving current supplied to a driving source of a lock mechanism between the operating handle and the latch mechanism, and supplies a charged driving current to the release assisting unit.

    摘要: The invention relates to a temporary closure device for an opening element (1) on a fixed chassis part (5) of a motor vehicle, in which the opening element (1) comprises a housing (2) for receiving a lock and the fixed part (5) comprises at least one tapped hole (6) for fixing a strike. The inventive device comprises a plastic body (11) which is equipped with means (13; 16; 17) for mounting same in the tapped hole (6). In addition, a first end (11a) of the device comprises a limit stop element (18) which is intended to co-operate with a first rim (3) of the housing (2) as the opening element (1) is being closed, while the second end (11b) of the device comprises a means (19) for retaining the opening element (1) in the closed position against the fixed part (5), which is intended to penetrate the housing (2) behind a second rim (4) thereof. The aforementioned retaining means is formed by a resilient tongue (19) which can bend under stress from the second rim (4) when the opening element (1) is moved from the free position to the closed position thereof. According to the invention, the area of the body that essentially corresponds to the base of the tongue (19) extends into a plate (19) which is suspended above a recessed area, the plate (20) and the tongue (19) being connected by means of an arch (21) forming a flexible connection.

    摘要: A slam latch is provided which includes a housing which receives a planar slide which is movable between an extended position and a retracted position. A spring biases the slide toward the extended position. The housing forms a part of a divider which is hingedly mounted to a trailer body to form compartments in the trailer. Preferably, the housing is made of metal, and the slide is made of plastic. The housing has a hole in each side of the housing allowing access to the slide. Preferably, the slide includes a hole therethrough defining a hand slot. The trailer body includes a receiver post which receives the end of the slide in the extended position to latch the divider in place. Preferably, the receiver post has a continuous cross-section from floor to ceiling and is flush with the wall of the trailer body.

    摘要: A method and system for disengaging a drive rod in a door after an impact to the door. An automobile having a door with a door handle, a drive rod, a latching system, a striker, and a drive rod striking member. The drive rod striking member can be positioned adjacent the drive rod. Upon impact to the door, the drive rod is disengaged from the door handle and/or the latching system through inertia, the drive rod striking member impacting the drive rod, or any other disengagement mechanisms. The drive rod striking member prevents the drive rod from re-engaging with the latching system. The disengagement of the drive rod prevents the drive rod from controlling the latching system to disengage from the striker, either through deformation of the door, or through actuations by the door handle.
