摘要: A submersible aeration apparatus includes an air passage formed on a pump chamber to draw air into the pump chamber. A suction port formed on a lower side of the pump chamber draws liquid into the pump chamber. An impeller draws air through the air passage and liquid through the suction port. An ejection passage ejects the air and liquid. The impeller includes a main plate portion to cover a connection port connecting the air passage to the pump chamber. A vane portion protrudes downward from a lower surface of the main plate portion on the suction port side. The main plate portion has a cut-out part connecting the air passage and the pump chamber, and a groove part recessed from an upper surface of the main plate portion toward the lower surface and extending from an inner peripheral side toward an outer peripheral side of the main plate portion.

The electric machine includes a rotor and a stator residing in a first housing at specified conditions. The fluid end may include an impeller and be coupled to the electric machine. The submersible well fluid system may also include an adjustable speed drive for the electric machine in the housing. The submersible well fluid system may also include a chemical distribution system for supplying treatment chemicals to the submersible well fluid system, a barrier fluid supply system for supplying a barrier fluid to the submersible well fluid system, and a pressure management system.

摘要: There is provided an apparatus 30 and method for conditioning the flow of a mixed phase flow from a supply pipe 101 from a hydrocarbon well. The apparatus 30 comprises an elongate reservoir 11 having a first end for receiving a multi-phase fluid flow from the supply pipe and a second closed end, there being provided a gas outlet 02 from the upper part of the first end, a liquid separation region downstream of the first end, and a liquid outlet 12 from the lower part of the liquid separation region; and a gas-liquid mixer to which the gas and liquid outlets are connected such that the separated gas and liquid may be recombined. The reservoir 11 may accommodate surges of liquid such that the flow rate from the liquid outlet is relatively invariant over time compared to that of the flow received by the apparatus.

摘要: A system for dewatering a subsea gas pipeline includes a pig launcher at the pipeline's upper end, which may be at or near the sea surface, and a pig receiver at the pipeline's lower end, which may be at or near the sea floor. A multiphase pump unit is deployed at the pipeline lower end and is configured to provide sea water suction to aid in a pig train being forced downwards through pipeline. The multiphase pump is configured to handle some amount of gas leaking around the pig train. A choke system may allow sea water to enter the flowline, thereby lowering the gas volume fraction (GVF) and preventing the GVF from exceeding the ability of the multiphase pump. For deeper water applications, a second pump may be provided in series that may be a single pump if positioned downstream of the multiphase pump.

摘要: A gas compressor comprising a drum affixed to a rotating shaft, the drum including a plurality of compression channels between a common pressure zone and an interior surface of the drum distal to an axis of rotation. A static vane return assembly adjacent the compression channels includes vanes extending from an inlet at an outer circumference to the common pressure zone and directing gas into the common pressure zone, either through the vanes or via separate channels or ducts. Fluid inside the rotating drum forms an annular lake that is drawn through the vanes and into the common pressure zone. Fluid is then forced into the compression channels where gas in the fluid is compressed as it travels from the common pressure zone toward the interior surface. The pressurized gas is separated from the liquid prior to leaving the compression channel assembly while the liquid is returned to the lake.

A crossover of an ESP gas separator includes a first helical pathway for higher density fluid that extends at an angle of 10° to 40° from a horizontal plane through the crossover, the first helical pathway fluidly coupled to a spider bearing including crescent shaped vanes that remove rotational momentum from the higher density fluid, a second helical pathway for lower density fluid that tangentially intersects a crossover jacket, the first helical pathway and the second helical pathway defined by a channel having teardrop shaped openings in the crossover jacket that define channel exit ports venting to a casing annulus, and teardrop shaped openings in a crossover skirt that define a channel entrance, where the first helical pathway is around the channel and the second helical pathway is through an inside of the channel.

摘要: A snow thrower impeller assembly (24) includes a mounting slot (84) for a wiper (70). The wiper includes a wiper portion (86) that slides into the mounting slot to mount the wiper to the impeller (54). The wiper contacts an interior wall (56) of an associated impeller housing during rotational operation of the impeller in order to limit a gap (74) between an impeller blade (66) and the interior wall. The wiper can move radially inward and outward to remain in contact with the interior wall without input from the operator. Another embodiment of the impeller assembly includes impeller blades with a first portion (116) and a second portion (118). The second portion extends at a non-zero angle from the first blade portion of the impeller blade.
