摘要: An umbilical cable disconnect device is disclosed. The umbilical cable disconnect device includes a base having an opening configured to receive an umbilical cable, a cutter extending into the opening of the base, and a spacer component disposed in the opening between the cutter and the umbilical cable. The spacer component maintains separation of the cutter and the umbilical cable prior to disconnect of the umbilical cable. The cutter is operable to penetrate the spacer component in response to displacement of the disconnect device relative to the umbilical cable to facilitate cutting of the umbilical cable by the cutter to disconnect the umbilical cable.

摘要: The invention relates to a separator device for separating the on-board and ground portions of a launcher fueling module, the device comprising: a locking system having a locking finger (50) mounted on the ground portion (22) and having a blocking portion (523), and a locking pin (42) on the on-board portion (21) co-operating by engaging with the blocking portion (523) in order to hold the on-board portion (21) and the ground portion (22) in a locking position. The separator system further comprises an actuation system that, under vertical movement of the launcher (10), enables the blocking portion (523) to be disengaged from the locking pin (42), whereby the on-board portion (21) is suitable for being separated from the ground portion (22). The invention also provides a method of separating the on-board and ground portions of a launcher fueling module, which method is implemented by means of such a separator device.

摘要: Lost-fluid hydraulic actuation system. This system makes it possible to control for a short time an element (168) in an autonomous working unit, particularly a rocket, with an onboard means (100) connected to the unit. Hydraulic fluid under pressure is introduced into the element (168) by a delivery pipe (141). A tank (130) supplies the hydraulic fluid used during the autonomous working, a helium bottle (110) puts the hydraulic fluid under pressure, and an evacuation pipe (171) evacuates the hydraulic fluid out of the autonomous unit after it has actuated the element (168).

摘要: A rotatable support mounts a plurality of missile carrying missile launchers for rotation about a center axis. Each launcher mounts a plurality of missiles for rotation about an axis. The rotatable support is rotated to successively bring each missile launcher into a launch position. Each such launcher is rotated to successively bring each missile carried by it into a launch position.

摘要: The invention is a mounting capable of holding retracted missile fins and an umbilical electrical connector in a magazine-type launcher during long periods of storage and handling under adverse conditions without damage to the fins or connectors. The present mounting comprises a ''''wishbone'''' member having transversely extending yoke-like clips on each arm of the wishbone member, the clips holding the missile fins in a folded, retracted position prior to launch of the missile. The center of the wishbone member is pivoted at its center, the center thereof being the point of connection of the mounting to the launcher and being located at a point above the axis of the missile to minimize the effects of missile movement which act to ''''work'''' the fins in the clips and the electrical connector seated in the missile itself.
