    摘要: A snap adapter for a wire stripping tool has a hollow body with a tool end, a component end, and a button. The tool end is sized for insertion into the tool body and the component end is sized for receiving a component meant to strip a cable of a specified diameter. The button comprises a pin feature for attaching the received component. Inserting the component into the snap adapter forces the pin away from the snap adapter hollow body to allow for full insertion of the component into the tool body. A spring disposed between the hollow body and button pushes the pin feature upwards through the hollow body to hold the component inside the snap adapter once the component is fully inserted. Removing the component requires pushing down the button to extract the pin feature, which allows the component to be slideably removed from the tool body.

    摘要: A depth gauge is provided that is configured to be removably coupled to a tool. The depth gauge having a gauge body, a coupling means to removably couple the gauge body to the tool and a fiducial on the gauge body whereby the fiducial signifies a distance between the fiducial and a portion of the tool. In some embodiments, the coupling means comprises a magnet. In some embodiments, the tool is a wire stripper whereby when the wire stripper is actuated on a coated wire, the wire stripper cuts a portion of the wire coating equal to the distance defined by the fiducial. In some embodiments, the fiducial comprises an abutment protruding from the gauge body. In some embodiments, the depth gauge has multiple fiducials and the gauge body and the fiducials are formed as one piece.

    摘要: A circular cutting unit for partially cutting one or more layers of a cable or wire along a cutting plane. The circular cutting unit include a knife head including a drive disc and an adjustment disc that are each rotatable about a disc axis. A pair of knife holders that each include a knife blade are pivotally mounted to the drive disc. Relative rotation of the adjustment disc relative to the drive disc causes the knife holders to pivot causing movement of the knife blades toward or away from each other. The circular cutting unit includes a primary drive assembly and an adjustment drive assembly that are each separately operable. The primary drive assembly rotates the knife head at the cutting speed and the adjustment drive assembly rotates the adjustment disc relative to the drive disc.

    摘要: Positioning of a shield electric wire is performed by an insertion jig in front of a peeling jig, and a portion at a distal end of the shield electric wire where a metal foil is exposed is inserted into an electric wire insertion hole of a peeling jig through the center hole of an insertion jig. Air is blown from an opening on an other-end-surface side of the peeling jig toward the distal end of the shielded electric wire, and the metal foil is expanded while being separated from a wire core. A cut is formed from a side of a metal foil expanded by blowing air in a predetermined gap between a one-end-surface of the peeling jig and an end surface of the insertion jig, and the metal foil is cut from the cut as a starting point.
