摘要： An antenna assembly is operative for receiving interrogating radiation at a variable frequency tag and generating a corresponding received signal, and for receiving a signature signal and radiating corresponding response radiation. A logic unit is operative for receiving the received signal and outputting the signature signal in response, the signature signal including a signature code for use in identifying the tag. A voltage controlled oscillator is operative for controlling a rate at which the signature code is output; and a power supply is operative for providing an electrical potential difference for energizing the tag. The voltage controlled oscillator is operable to output the signature code at a rate which is governed by the magnitude of the received signal.

摘要： A remote tuner control system for responding to command signals transmitted by a user on a full-duplex communication channel. The tuner control system comprises a tone decoder coupled to the communication channel for conversion of pushbutton telephone tones generated by a user to binary numeric data; a tuner for reception of local audio broadcast radio signals; a speech generator for generating audio speech command menus and command acknowledgements; an output selector assembly coupled to the tuner and to the speech generator adapted for selection of audio information returned to the user; and an input/output interface assembly coupled to the tuner and output selector assembly. The input/output interface assembly is adapted to control reception frequency of the tuner and output selection of the output selector assembly and is coupled to a processor, the speech generator and tone decoder. The processor is adapted to receive the binary numeric data from the tone decoder and control the input/output interface assembly and speech generator in response to the binary numeric data from the tone decoder.

摘要： A key assembly for receivers for communication systems, especially radio television receivers, comprises a casing, keys adapted for mutual release by means of a spring-loaded locking plate for switching in storable, selectively adjustable electrical values of channel memories consisting of a plurality of voltage dividers for variable capacitance diode tuning, rotary and slidable press buttons associated with the respective keys for channel tuning and optionally for selecting a frequency range, which is adjustable in a preferably pressed position of the rotary press button being different from the tuning position by turning into various locking angular positions, as well as a channel and frequency range indicator scale. According to the invention said indicator scale simultaneously is the locking plate for the keys.

摘要： An improvement in the indicator driving device for use in a television receiver incorporating a radio receiver is shown. There is provided an indicator driving device of a type in which the selection of a channel for the television receiver and the selection of a frequency for the radio receiver are performed by means of a common manipulating knob. The improvement resides in a much simplified construction and facilitation of work for obtaining synchronization or matching between the frequency selecting variable capacitor of the radio receiver and the frequency indicator.

摘要： A compact dial indicator arrangement is provided for a UHF tuner of the type having a continuously variable main tuning shaft and a station selector shaft provided with detent means for establishing a separate detent position for each of the 70 television stations in the UHF band. An elongated strip of material bearing numbers corresponding to each one of the 70 UHF television stations is moved past a viewing position at which the selected channel numbers may be viewed by means interconnected with the detented selector shaft so that the number on the elongated strip corresponding to each stop position of the continuously variable main tuning shaft is automatically viewable at the viewing position in response to rotation of the selector shaft to each detented position thereof.

摘要： A stop mechanism for a detented rotary assembly uses the detent wheel-detent arm assembly to effectuate the stop function. An element carried by the detent arm is moved as the detent arm goes into and moves out from the recesses on the detent wheel, with a selected one or more of the parts between the detent recesses being elongated so that the detent arm, when engaged therewith, moves to an increased degree, thereby moving the element carried thereby into engagement with a stop element. The stop element in turn may be mounted in a movable fashion so as to be brought into the path of movement of the element carried by the detent arm only after a predetermined number of revolutions of the assembly have been carried out. The stop element may advantageously be associated with one of the indicators of a digital indication system, thereby to permit rotation of the assembly through a predetermined number of revolutions before the stop mechanism becomes effective.
