摘要: A warning light having light sources for emitting light of different colors via at least a lens, where one of the colors is violet and other of the colors is non-violet along a spectrum of visible illumination. A controller selectably activates the light source(s) emitting non-violet light to provide visible warning signals, and the light source(s) emitting violet light to provide fluorescent inducing signals dominantly along the spectrum of visible illumination which causes any object or surface having phosphors to fluoresce in order to enhance their visibility in low or zero ambient light environments. The lens and/or optional filter, or coating along the lens, filters or blocks ultraviolet light to shift the peak wavelength of violet light source(s) so that fluorescent inducing signals are dominantly or more dominantly of higher wavelengths along the spectrum of visible violet illumination to human eyes. Single and dual warning light housings embodiments are provided.

摘要: A control system for a light emitting device includes N number of drive circuits that are connected in series, N number of transmission lines, a common transmission line, a control line electrically connected to the N number of transmission lines and the common transmission line, and a control circuit electrically connected to the control line for outputting a command signal, where N≥2. The command signal is configured for address setting, brightness control or data fetch. The N number of transmission lines are electrically connected to the N number of drive circuits, respectively. Each of the N number of drive circuits has a state setting operable to switch between a transmission state and a non-transmission state. When the state setting of every single one of the N number of drive circuits is in the transmission state, the N number of drive circuits form a pass-through signal transmission path.

摘要: Certain embodiments of the disclosed technology include a decorative lighting system that can be integrated with an artificial tree. The decorative lighting system may include a white light emitting diode (LED) light string and a variable-color LED light string. The variable-color LED light string may employ LED lamps having embedded Red, Green, and Blue (RGB) LEDs. The RGB LED lamps may include an embedded integrated circuit (IC) configured to communicate with and control the energizing of each of the corresponding RGB LEDs to create a multitude of colors and color combinations that can vary with time to create a light show. An electronic controller in communication with the LED lamps may allow a user to select the mode for the light show and further may provide a periodic reset signal to restart or re-synchronize the light show.

摘要: An overhead lighting fixture containing both visible light sources and UV light sources is disclosed herein. UV light can sanitize/disinfect the surrounding environment after the environment over a period of about 30-45 minutes. In this way, viruses, germs, bacteria, mold, and the like can be destroyed to clean the air and/or surfaces (e.g., furniture). Accordingly, embodiments of the present invention provide a controllable UV lighting assembly that can produce UV light to sanitize/disinfect an area and can be automatically disabled to prevent UV light exposure to those in the area using a motion sensor. The lighting assembly can produce visible light while the UV light source is disabled. According to some embodiments, the duration of UV light production is controlled by a timer for power savings.

摘要: Apparatuses, methods, systems, and techniques for providing special effects wirelessly using a device plugged into a standard electrical outlet are provided. Example embodiments provide an apparatus and associated software applications for remote and live control of special effects (hereinafter a “Remote Special Effects System,” or “RSES”) using special effect (SE) devices such as individually addressable LEDs, LED strips, fog and smoke machines, and the like. The example RSES described herein comprises one or more SE controller devices that each plug into a standard electrical outlet and are each connected to one or more SE devices. Each SE controller is wirelessly connected to the Internet (or other wide area network) so that it can respond to DMX (or other protocol) commands sent by a remote application by issuing corresponding commands specific to the connected SE device to cause synchronized special effects to occur to an ad-hoc created zone of SE controllers.

摘要: A light source device includes a first light source, a second light source, and a light source control unit. The first light source emits laser light. The second light source emits light. The light source control unit controls the operations of the first and second light sources. The light source control unit executes each of first switching control and second switching control on laser light which is applied to a subject after emitted from the first light source based on a time reference in accordance with a class specified by a laser standard indicating a safety standard for laser products. In the first switching control, a lighting state is switched from the first light source to the second light source. In the second switching control, the lighting state is switched from the second light source to the first light source.
