Abstract: A system for the display of an image medium on a horizontal plane, consisting of a display unit and display unit holder, wherein the display unit comprises at least a transparent top layer (2), a bottom plate (3) and a frame (4) made of bendable material. The frame (4) extends out to the circumferential edge of the top plate (2) and is thereby inextricably bound. The frame is inextricably bound to part of the circumferential edge of the bottom plate (3), in such a manner that the image medium (21), made up of sheet or a type of foil material, can be inserted in between the bottom plate and the top plate. The display unit holder contains a recessed area of which the dimensions match the outer dimensions of the display unit, in such a manner that the display unit can be detachably placed in the recessed area.
