Abstract: A new and improved pointing device (100) having a symmetrical design thereby permitting ambidextrous use and equally benefiting both left- and right-handed users. Such device further permits the user's palm and wrist to rest at a neutral angle of approximately 45 degrees with respect to the horizontal surface during operation of the device thereby reducing pronation of the hand and wrist.
