Abstract: A method for improving user experience for an on-line platform may include obtaining a user input of a user of the on-line platform. The method may also include obtaining a plurality of candidate terms of interest (TOIs) that are selected by the user based on historical inputs relating to the user input. Each of the plurality of candidate TOIs may belong to a candidate category. The method may also include determining a target category for the user input based on the candidate categories and the plurality of candidate TOIs. The method may also include determining one or more target TOIs based on the target category and the plurality of candidate TOIs. The method may also include transmitting the one or more target TOIs to a terminal associated with the user.

Abstract: Systems and methods for identifying proper noun. The method may include obtaining a search request including a target query. The method may also include determining whether the target query includes at least one proper noun based on a trained identification model. The trained identification model may be configured to provide a probability that the target query includes at least one proper noun. In response to a determination that the probability is greater than a predetermined probability threshold, the method may include determining that the target query includes at least one proper noun.

Abstract: Query processing methods and systems are provided. The query processing method may include receiving an original query and segmenting the original query into one or more original phrases to obtain a phrase sequence. In some cases, the method may include segmenting the original query based on a phrase list. The phrase list may include a plurality of existing phrases. Further, for each original phrase, the method may also include determining one or more candidate phrases. Each candidate phrase may correspond to a probability. The method may also include determining a rewritten phrase based on the one or more candidate phrases, the corresponding probabilities, and a predetermined threshold probability. Further, the method may generating a rewritten query corresponding to the original query based on the rewritten phrases and the phrase sequence.
