Abstract: A connector (20) for a coaxial cable(10). The cable comprises an outer conductor (11), an inner conductor (12) and an insulating medium (13) located between the outer and the inner conductors, wherein the connector comprises a connector front body (21) and a connector rear body (22) inserted therein; the connector front body comprises a hollow shell(30); the connector rear body comprises a flare ring(50), a slot finger and a lock nut(70) which are inserted into the shell, wherein the flare ring at one end thereof rests against a shoulder (37) in the shell, the slot finger is mounted on the flare ring, and the lock nut is mounted on the slot finger and engages the inner surface of the shell; the flare ring is provided with adjacent the first incline(54) and the fist plane(55), and the slot finger is provided with adjacent the second incline(67) and the second plane(66), wherein the first incline is used for insertion between the outer conductor and the insulating medium of the coaxial cable, and the first incline and the first plane respectively cooperate with the second incline and the second plane, so as to simultaneously flare and crush the outer conductor of the coaxial cable. The cable connector can gain excellent third order intermodulation performance and high frequency transmission performance.

Abstract: An assembly includes: a coaxial cable; a coaxial connector having an inner contact and an outer conductor body, the outer conductor body having a rear portion electrically connected with the outer conductor of the coaxial cable to form a joint; and a protective boot that overlies a forward portion of the coaxial cable and the rear portion of the outer conductor body to protect the joint between the coaxial cable and the connector. The boot comprises a body with a bore extending therethrough and includes a cable sealing section at one end that interference fits with the jacket of the cable to provide sufficient support for coaxial cable and creates a first seal with the jacket of the cable. The boot further including a feature within the bore that engages the outer conductor body forward of the electrical connection between the outer conductor and the outer conductor body.

Abstract: The invention relates to a cable connector for a coaxial cable, including an inner conductor (1) having a proximal section with a receiving hole (6) configured to receive a free end of an inner conductor of a coaxial cable; an outer conductor (2) having a distal chamber (7) and a proximal chamber (8) configured to receive an end section of the coaxial cable; and an insulator (3) for insulating the inner conductor from the outer conductor of the cable connector, the insulator being received in the distal chamber. At least the proximal section of the inner conductor of the cable connector comprises lead brass, and the proximal section can be pressed for grasping the free end of the inner conductor of the coaxial cable. The invention also relates to a coaxial cable assembly including such a cable connector and a method for manufacturing the same. The cable connector can be manufactured cost-effectively and reliable connection between the cable connector and the coaxial cable can be ensured.

Abstract: A quick-locking male connector includes: an inner contact; an insulator, wherein the inner contact resides within the insulator; an outer contact, wherein the insulator resides within the outer contact; a spring basket with a plurality of spring fingers, the spring basket abutting a forward end of the outer contact; an elastic claw with at least radially-inward one tooth and a radially-outward nub, wherein the spring basket resides within the claw, and wherein a gap exists between the at least one tooth and the spring fingers; a connector body attached to the outer contact; and a coupling nut having at least one radially-inward extending nub.
