Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for reference signal sequence detection by a user equipment (UE). The reference signal sequence may indicate one or more control channel candidates that are to be monitored for control information transmissions to the UE. A base station may transmit control information with a set of parameters for two or more reference signal sequences that are each associated different subsets of decoding candidates within a search space occasion. The UE may monitor the search space occasion and detect a first reference signal sequence and may identify a first subset of the two or more subsets of control channel candidate locations for a blind decoding procedure based on the detection of the first reference signal sequence.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for providing direct current locations of bandwidth parts (BWPs) in a BWP hopping pattern. Certain aspects relate to a method for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE). In some examples, the UE may receive, from abase station (BS), a request for uplink direct current location information of the UE, wherein the UE is configured to transmit to the BS on an uplink according to a frequency hopping pattern for hopping between a plurality of uplink bandwidth parts corresponding to different frequency bandwidths. In some examples, the UE may transmit, to the BS, at least one uplink direct current location applicable to the plurality of uplink bandwidth parts. In some examples, the UE may transmit, to the BS, on the uplink according to the frequency hopping pattern.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for managing a bandwidth of a user equipment (UE). The UE has a narrower bandwidth part (NBWP) that follows a NBWP hopping pattern and allows the UE to hop frequency over time within a larger bandwidth. The UE receives a configuration of one or more NBWP hopping patterns for one or more configured NBWPs, each configured NBWP having a bandwidth less than or equal to a maximum configurable bandwidth of a bandwidth part. The UE determines an active NBWP hopping pattern for an active NBWP of the one or more configured NBWPs. The UE communicates on frequency domain resources for a frequency domain hop indicated by the active NBWP hopping pattern applied to the active NBWP. The UE may receive an indication of whether to switch the active NBWP hopping pattern.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. In some wireless communications systems, a base station may transmit, to a user equipment (UE), an indication of a dynamic switch between slot formats. The base station and the UE may communicate first data in one or more first slots according to a first slot format. The first slot format may be a first cyclic prefix-based or guard interval-based slot format. The base station may transmit control signaling to the UE to indicate a second slot format different from the first slot format. The second slot format may be a second cyclic prefix-based or guard interval-based slot format. The UE and the base station may switch to communicating second data in one or more second slots in accordance with the second slot format based on the control signaling.

The UE may receive, from the base station, a transmission based at least in part on the indication that indicates the blockage event as the cause for the change in one or more of the rank information or the channel quality information. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling identifying a configuration for a reference signal comprising a single carrier waveform and associated with single carrier signals for a plurality of symbol periods, the configuration indicating a plurality of channels associated with the reference signal and a set of functions associated with the reference signal. The UE may receive, according to the configuration, the reference signal in a first one or more symbol periods of the plurality of symbol periods and the single carrier signals on the plurality of channels in a second one or more symbol periods of the plurality of symbol periods. The UE may perform the set of functions on the received single carrier signals based at least in part on the received reference signal.

The plurality of downlink data transmissions are monitored across the plurality of slots. At least one HARQ feedback scheme for acknowledging the plurality of downlink data transmissions is determined. HARQ feedback for the plurality of downlink data transmissions is provided in accordance with the at least one HARQ feedback scheme.

Abstract: Aspects described herein relate to repetitions of uplink transmissions. In an example, a network entity may transmit, to a user equipment (UE), an indication of repetitive scheduling of a downlink control channel, wherein the indication triggers a correspondence between the repetitive scheduling of the downlink control channel and one or more repetition factors for an uplink control channel, each of the one or more repetition factors corresponding to a repetition count for uplink control messages on the uplink control channel; and receive, from the UE on the uplink control channel, repetitions of an uplink control message according to a first repetition factor of the one or more repetition factors for the uplink control channel.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications provide techniques for multiplexing, in a frequency domain, a synchronization signal block (SSB) and a control resource set (CORESET) to form a multiplexed block that is transmitted using a set of symbols. A base station may transmit multiple multiplexed blocks using multiple different beams with a switching gap provided between each multiplexed block that allows for switching of radio frequency (RE) components between different beams. The switching gap is longer than a duration of a cyclic prefix (CP) that is associated with each symbol of the set of symbols of each multiplexed block. Within one or more of the multiplexed blocks, an associated SSB may use a different waveform than the CORESET. The multiplexed blocks may use a common reference signal for both the SSB and CORESET.
