Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications provide techniques for multiplexing, in a frequency domain, a synchronization signal block (SSB) and a control resource set (CORESET) to form a multiplexed block that is transmitted using a set of symbols. A base station may transmit multiple multiplexed blocks using multiple different beams with a switching gap provided between each multiplexed block that allows for switching of radio frequency (RE) components between different beams. The switching gap is longer than a duration of a cyclic prefix (CP) that is associated with each symbol of the set of symbols of each multiplexed block. Within one or more of the multiplexed blocks, an associated SSB may use a different waveform than the CORESET. The multiplexed blocks may use a common reference signal for both the SSB and CORESET.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, control information that indicates at least two transmission configuration indicator (TCI ) states. A first TCI state of the at least two TCI states is associated with a half duplex mode of the UE, and a second TCI state of the at least two TCI states is associated with a full duplex mode of the UE. The UE may further receive, from the base station, a downlink transmission according to at least one of the first TCI state or the second TCI state. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: According to one example embodiment, a method may include receiving, by a user equipment, at least one network entity failure indication configuration. The method may further include detecting, by the user equipment, that at least one first network entity satisfies at least one beam-failure condition. The method may further include selecting, by the user equipment, one or more of at least one resource and at least one parameter based on the at least one received network entity failure indication configuration. Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to bandwidth-efficient utilization of peak reduction tone resource are provided. An example method of wireless communications performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a base station in a first subband, a resource allocation indicating a set of transmission tones comprising a set of first data tones, a set of second data tones and a set of peak reduction tones (PRTs). The resource allocation can indicate the set of first data tones overlaps at least a portion of the set of PRTs at respective locations of a set of PRT locations and the set of second data tones is arranged at a set of data tone locations within a particular bandwidth. The UE can communicate, with the base station in a second subband, a data transmission using an outgoing waveform based at least in part on the resource allocation.

Abstract: A configuration to enable a UE to monitor downlink control to determine a slot direction while operating in a half duplex operation in a FDD mode. The apparatus receives an indication of a slot pattern for a plurality of slots, wherein the slot pattern indicates the plurality of slots includes at least one flexible slot. The apparatus receives a downlink control monitoring occasion configuration. The apparatus monitors for downlink control from a base station based at least on the indication of the slot pattern and on the monitoring occasion configuration. The apparatus determines whether the at least one flexible slot is an uplink slot or a downlink slot based on a DCI. The apparatus transmits or receives communications on the slot based on the determination.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for transmission configuration indication states that indicate quasi-collocation relationships. For example, a user equipment (UE) may transmit an uplink reference signal to a base station and receive, in response, a transmission configuration indication state from the base station that is based on the uplink reference signal. In some examples, the transmission configuration indication state may indicate a quasi-collocation relationship between the uplink reference signal and one or more reference signals associated with a downlink channel. In some implementations, the quasi-collocation relationship may be a spatial relationship between one or more antenna ports associated with the base station used to receive the uplink reference signal and one or more antenna ports used to transmit downlink data. The UE may receive downlink data based on the transmission configuration indication state and the indicated quasi-collocation relationship.

Abstract: Aspects relate to dynamically changing the slot format of a slot between half-duplex and sub-band full-duplex (SBFD) and/or to changing flexible symbols within a flexible slot between half-duplex and SBFD when a base station is configured to operate in a SBFD mode. A slot format indicator (SFI) indicating the slot format of the slot may be signaled, for example, via downlink control information (DCI) mapped to a downlink control channel or medium access control (MAC) control element (MAC-CE) mapped to a downlink data channel. To improve reliability, various SFI boosting mechanisms may further be employed. For example, the base station may apply a higher aggregation level to the SFI, transmit repetitions of the SFI across multiple beams, apply a CRC enhancement and/or MCS enhancement to the downlink control channel carrying the SFI, and/or apply a power boost to the SFI.

In addition, the same PUSCH may be transmitted through a first beam of the plurality of beams n times, and transmitted through a second bream of the plurality of beams m times, where n and m are integers greater than or equal to one.
