    Abstract: A communication system has head wearable devices arranged for wireless communication in an operating environment. A first head wearable device (100) has a camera (120) for capturing an environment image and a first processor (110) arranged for detecting a further head wearable device (150) based on a viewing direction of a wearer of the first head wearable device. Then the further head wearable device is identified at an operational distance based on a remotely detectable visual property and a communication session is established between the first head wearable device and the further head wearable device.
