摘要: The present invention is directed to an electrochemical device for at least partially removing or reducing a target ionic species from an aqueous solution using faradaic immobilization, the electrochemical device including at least one first electrode and at least one second electrode with different void fraction and surface area properties, due to differences in void fraction (also referred to as void ratio) of the at least one first and the at least one second electrode, water flows through an electrode with a high porosity, while the aqueous solution does not flow through an electrode with a low porosity. The asymmetry of the electrodes provides a desired voltage distribution across the device, which equates to a different voltage at each electrode, to control the speciation of the target ionic species at the anode and the cathode.

摘要: A water purification module includes a fluid path and a control unit. The flow path includes a cationic resin cartridge, an anionic resin cartridge in fluid communication with the cationic resin cartridge, and at least one bypass fluid path arranged to bypass one of the cationic resin cartridge and the anionic resin cartridge, while allowing water to flow to the other of the cationic resin cartridge and the anionic resin cartridge. The flow path also includes a valve arrangement comprising one or more valves configured to selectively direct water to the at least one bypass fluid path. The control unit is configured to control the valve arrangement to direct water to the at least one bypass fluid path based on a production mode of the water purification module.

摘要: 一种电渗析生产肥料的方法,包括将沼液进行预处理,去除沼液中的悬浮性颗粒物和胶体,得到原水,将原水通入选择性电渗析系统中,选择性电渗析系统中设置离子交换膜,将原水分离得到二价阴离子富集液,二价阳离子富集液,一价离子富集液和淡化水,其中淡化水满足排放标准,利用富集液生产化肥,包括对一价离子富集液进行pH调节,之后进行蒸发处理,蒸发后的气体经硫酸吸收得到硫酸铵,蒸发后的液体结晶得到固体钾盐。有效解决了选择性电渗析处理厌氧沼液后高盐度浓缩液的资源化利用问题,为沼液资源回收提供可行方案。

摘要: The invention relates to a device and a process for the desalination of NaCl solutions employing a three-chamber electrochemical cell separated by relative ion exchange membranes, namely a succession of a cathode chamber (16; 116), a cation exchange membrane (28; 128), a central chamber (12; 112) for the saline solution, an anion exchange membrane (26; 126) and an anode chamber (14; 114). The oxidation of OH- and the reduction of H3O+ under the formation of OH- and H2 causes the passage of Na+ and Cl- ions from the central chamber to the other chambers, thereby reducing the salt concentration. The feeding of the cathode chamber can be managed in a circuit with the insertion of a carbonation reactor (50) to reduce the concentration of NaOH and eliminate CO2 from the air. Under certain conditions, the chlorides entering the anode chamber undergo oxidation and the chlorine formed therein reacts with water to produce HCl and HClO.
