A modular intake heater (10) for an internal combustion engine. In one embodiment, the heater includes a first holder (14), a second holder (16), a heating element (18) coupled to the first holder, biasing means (34) for urging one of said first holder and said second holder away from the other of said first holder and said second holder, and a retainer mechanism (20) coupling the first holder to the second holder against the urging of the biasing means. In another embodiment, a heater (510) includes a first heater sub-assembly (519), a second heater sub-assembly (719), an access panel (511) coupled to an intake (512), and a retainer mechanism (515) coupling the first heater sub-assembly and the second heater sub-assembly to the access panel.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for supporting essentially horizontally extending pipes, especially ribbed pipes, which run parallel to one another such as the pipes of a waste heat boiler. The pipes, which are stacked on top of each other, have cylindrical sleeves (3) slid over them at set intervals and are supported via said sleeves on the corresponding sleeves of the pipes beneath. The bottom row sleeves (3) lie on support devices (6, 6') which are connected to a casing by suspension elements (7, 8). Said support devices (6, 6') and suspension elements (7, 8) are configured in such a way that they are at least partly cooled, and said cylindrical sleeves (3, 3') have an annular cross section. The device described exhibits the required resistance to higher temperatures since it is cooled, and also requires little labour to produce.

A guiding/directing apparatus to direct a fluid flow through a heat exchanger core has a shell-like main body that installs over stacked tube plates of the heat exchanger core at an end of the heat exchanger core corresponding to an inlet end for the fluid flow, with the heat exchanger core extending through an opening of the apparatus. The apparatus is configured so that the fluid flow enters into the main body through an inlet and is directed through the opening with minimal bypassing of the heat exchanger core by the fluid.

본 발명은 열교환기에 대한 발명으로서, 마이크로 채널 타입으로 형성된 플랫튜브, 상기 플랫튜브의 상측 및 하측에 위치하여 상기 플랫튜브의 열을 전도시키는 제 1 핀 및 제 2 핀으로 구성되며, 상기 제 1 핀 및 상기 제 2 핀은 각각 상측과 하측에 제 1 응축수배출핀과 제 2 응축수배출핀을 구비하며, 상기 제 1 핀의 제 2 응축수배출핀과 제 2 핀의 제 1 응축수배출핀이 접촉되고, 상기 제 1 핀의 제 2 응축수배출핀과 제 2 핀의 제 1 응축수배출핀은 상,하 방향에 대해 일렬로 배치되기 때문에, 상측에서 형성된 응축수를 하측으로 신속하게 이동시킬 수 있는 장점이 있다.

A combined cycle gas turbine power generating system, comprises: a gas turbine, a heat recovery steam generator; a steam turbine system; an energy storage system which stores energy in the form of heat energy; and a heat energy distribution system. A method of operating the combined cycle gas turbine power generating system includes: a) storing energy in the form of heat energy; and b) using the stored heat energy to heat components of the combined cycle gas turbine power generating system during periods when the combined cycle gas turbine power generating system is not operational and/or during start-up periods.
