Abstract:
An apparatus operable in a communication system is described. The apparatus includes means for sending a connection reconfiguration message using a first configuration. The apparatus also includes means for receiving an acknowledgement message using the first configuration. The apparatus also includes means for applying a second configuration as indicated in the acknowledgement message. The apparatus also includes means for sending a connection reconfiguration complete message uplink grant in a common search space. The apparatus also includes means for receiving a connection reconfiguration complete message using the second configuration.
Abstract:
A first mobile station operating on a first network according to a first network protocol receives a proxy request for access to a network resource, by from a second mobile station operating on a second network according to a second network protocol. The proxy request is received according to a third network protocol. The first mobile station determines a priority of the proxy request; accepts or denies the proxy request based on the determined priority of the proxy request; allocates resources to the proxy request, if the proxy request is accepted; and serves as a proxy mobile station for the second mobile station to access the network resource.
Abstract:
The invention relates methods for avoiding in-device coexistence, IDC, interference by a mobile terminal in a mobile communication system. The invention is also providing apparatus for performing these methods, and computer readable media the instructions of which cause the apparatus to perform the methods described herein. In order to allow avoiding IDC interference, an IDC interference indication is reported for one of a first or second cell on which an interference condition is detected; in response an activation/deactivation pattern is received for the one cell, the pattern indicating an off- duration and an offset specifying a time-period during which communication via the cell is to be deactivated; based thereon, subframes are determined from which on communication via the one cell is to be deactivated and re-activated, respectively; and communication on the one cell is deactivated and is re-activated communication at the determined first and second subframe.
Abstract:
A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided to allow the idle period to be defined in a more tailored manner, such as on a per station or per class of stations basis, as opposed to on a per access point basis. In the context of a method, an indication of an idle period is caused to be provided to a station. The method also causes an association with the station to be maintained for a period of time that is at least partially defined by the idle period. The period of time for which an association is maintained with the station is different than a period of time for which an association is maintained with another station in an absence of communication with the another station. A corresponding apparatus and computer program product are also provided.
Abstract:
A method of user equipment (UE) providing speed information to network is provided. The method supports obtaining speed information of the UE, detecting a trigger event and providing the speed information to the network by one or more predefined means. The speed information is taken from the group consisting of a physical speed, a physical speed mapped on a pre-defined speed group, and a virtual speed. The virtual speed comprises a cell change count or a number cells that the UE has requested RRC connection during a certain period. The UE can send the speed information to an eNB via RRC connection establishment, RRC connection re-establishment, a new IE in RRC measure report or a new RRC message.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus are described for controlling transmission of user data between a user equipment and a packet data via a packet switched data network, such as an Evolved Packet System (EPS). An association is formed between the user equipment and one or more gateways in the packet switched data network. In some embodiments, one or more messages are sent to the user equipment indicating a capability of the one or more gateways to inhibit transmission of user data towards the user equipment; an indication is received from the user equipment to inhibit transmission of user data to the user equipment from the first gateway, and, in response, transmission of user data towards the user from at least one of the gateways is inhibited. In some embodiments, in response to receipt of an indication from the user equipment to inhibit transmission of data towards the user equipment, a message is sent to the user equipment indicating parameters defining transmission characteristics of user data that may be transmitted between at least one of the gateways and the user equipment, and the gateways control transmission of data towards the user equipment in accordance with the sent parameters. This enables transmission of user data between a user equipment and a packet data network to be controlled.
Abstract:
Provided herein are devices, methods and other means, related to a printer assembly (200) configured to engage a label and peel the label from a backing without the backing having to be threaded through the printer assembly. The printer assembly may comprise one or more peel bars (704) support members, actuating shafts, and gears, among other things.
Abstract:
Provided are a method, device and system for processing abnormal data transmission. The method comprises: a terminal acquires the address of a radio packet gateway; and when abnormal data transmission occurs, if the terminal learns that the connection between the same and the radio packet gateway is normal according to the address of the radio packet gateway, then the terminal keeps the connection. In the method, when abnormal data transmission occurs, the terminal decides whether or not to initiate a connection reestablishment operation according to the state of the connection between the terminal and the radio packet gateway, which can avoid invalid connection reestablishment operation caused by the disconnection or malfunction of the service server, reducing the signalling impact on the gateway and the relevant network device and reducing the cost to the operator of operating the device.
