Abstract:
A pocket electronic telephone notebook (1) to be functionally coupled to a fixed telephone network is provided. The notebook (1), which can be coupled, for example, between a wall outlet (12) of the telephone network and a telephone set (14) substantially comprises an interface (2) of the telephone network, a centrally unit (3), a display (4), an alphanumeric keypad (6) and a communication interface (7), an interlinking bus (8) and linking means for providing a coupling with an outer alphanumeric keypad (16) and a PC (27), said telephone notebook (1) being designed to provide a full identification of the calling party by displaying, in addition to the telephone number also the name of said calling party, and to allow a quick and easy storing of not yet stored calling party names. Preferably, the notebook (1) also performs, according to any desired combinations, a quick calling function, a urgency answer function, a call serving function, a SMS message reception function and so on, and can hold a CD reader therein.
Abstract:
The inventive method is characterised in that connection data, for example, a telephone number and a corresponding identification, for example, the name of the telephone subscriber allocated to the corresponding telephone, is automatically extracted from a data memory and saved in a dialling directory memory.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a multifunction FM receiver (28) comprising a microcontroller (19), two automatic access keys (5), a LCD screen (4) an FM receiver (20),a DTMF manager (17), a keyboard scanner (6), a multifunction keyboard (21), a buzzer (18), a programming keyboard (22) and an electric power source (16). The multifunction FM receiver enables, through a single keyboard (21), to programme radio frequency in the FM band, to programme 1 to 30 phone numbers and dial them automatically by means of the automatic access keys (5). The multifunction FM receiver is also equipped with a calculating function with euro conversion.
Abstract:
A contact management system having wireless telephone interface capability for managing contact information and the contents of a wireless telephone's phone book memory (244). The contact management system comprises, according to a preferred embodiment, a computer system (112) communicatively connectable to wireless telephone (104), and a contact management software application operating on the computer system. The contact management system enables the collection and maintenance of information pertaining to a plurality of contacts, including voice telephone numbers of the contacts. The contact management system also enables selection and grouping of user-identified voice telephone numbers into fone lists which are independently selectable and downloadable to a wireless telephone via a communication interface which is capable of choosing an appropriate device driver which is compatible with the wireless telephone.
Abstract:
A removable data store (34) for a mobile station (8) used in a mobile communications system, the data store being provided with two alternative fixed dialling number lists (70, 72) which are accessible by the mobile station. The data store itself determines a mode of operation of the mobile station, for example a telephone line mode, in order to select between accessing the first list or the second list. This allows the alternate list feature to be implemented without requiring the mobile station (8) to be modified for compatibility with the removable data store (34).
Abstract:
A subscriber interface module (SIM 34) for a mobile station (8) used in a GSM mobile communications system, the SIM operating system being adapted to perform data coding format conversion for data items stored in the SIM and transmitted to the mobile station. This ensures that the SIM is able to receive, and present, data items in the required standard format at the interface between the mobile station and the SIM, whilst allowing the data items to be stored in a compressed format in the SIM memory (38), thereby increasing the perceived storage capacity of the SIM. The data can be abbreviated dialling number records.
Abstract:
A device is provided. The device includes a processor and a memory configured to store instructions executable by the processor. The processor is configured to execute the instructions to extract context information from displayed data based on an application which is being executed by the device, identify an identifier from the context information, search for at least one recommended contact related to the identifier based on the identifier and a relation graph obtained by inputting information regarding a communication between a plurality of users into a first training model for determining an association between the plurality of users, identify a priority of the at least one recommended contact, and control to display the at least one recommended contact according to the priority.
Abstract:
A system and method for presenting data items on a card comprising a media device, a radio frequency transceiver, a memory unit and a processor. The media device is configured to render at least one type of media content items. The device is disposed on the card. The radio frequency transceiver receives a data item from at least one user terminal. The memory unit stores a set of program modules. The set of program modules comprises an input module, an output module, and an optimizer module. The input module, is configured to receive the data item from the radio frequency transceiver. The optimizer module is configured to convert the data item into a first media content item, the first media content item being in a format capable to be rendered by the media device. The output module renders the first media content item on the media device.
