Abstract:
A method for controlling a color adjustable light source (101) configured to illuminate an object (110) is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of setting (301) a color temperature of a reference white point (cpref) at the black body curve (202), acquiring (302) information as to a color of the object (cpobj), receiving (303) a desired saturation level, and controlling (304) the light source (101) to illuminate the object (110) with light corresponding to the color temperature of the reference white point and comprising a saturated component corresponding to the color of the object. A corresponding system (100) for performing the method is also disclosed.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a vending machine body with increased capacity which is capable of withstanding a much higher than typical load in terms of goods weight and is intended primarily to serve as the structural basis for specialized vending machines for the sale of FMCG goods in large packages. As a result of its completely transparent body panels and impressive proportions, the device clearly offers the additional function of a display case and can serve at the same time as an effective means for the indoor advertising of saleable goods and/or the promotion of new brands on the market.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for controlling the illumination system in a temperature controlled environment, and to a control system for a temperature controlled environment having an illumination system. More specifically, the invention relates to a method wherein output of the illumination system causes a temperature response in the temperature controlled environment, the temperature response being detected by a sensor, the method comprising regulating the temperature adaptively based on the output of the illumination system and the associated temperature response. The control system for the temperature controlled environment, having an illumination system, comprises a sensor proximate to a casing of the temperature controlled environment and is adapted to control the illumination system, wherein output of the illumination system causes a temperature response in the temperature controlled environment, the temperature response being detected by the sensor, and the control system is adapted to regulate the temperature adaptively based on the output of the illumination system and the associated temperature response.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A merchandiser that includes a case that defines a product display area and that includes a frame having mullions. The mullions define at least one opening such that the food product within the product display area is accessible from the front of the case. The merchandiser also includes at least one shelf for supporting and displaying food product within the product display area, and a light assembly that is coupled to at least one of the mullions and that is positioned to illuminate the food product. The light assembly includes a first LED that has a first viewing angle and a second LED that has a second viewing angle that is smaller than the first viewing angle.
Abstract:
An illuminator (1) is of elongate overall configuration, generally similar to that of a conventional illuminator of the fluorescent tube type. It comprises a housing body (2) which is a section of a length of extruded aluminium. A transparent polymer cover (3) is snap-fitted in place across a front opening of the housing body (2). There is an end cap (4) at each end of the housing body (2). A circuit board (5) is supported on the housing (2), and it is a substrate for LEDs (6) and drive circuits (7). The housing body (2) has a supporting platform (9) for the PCB (5). Couplers (25), together with straddle brackets (30) allow the illuminator to be easily and securely mounted onto conventional shelf supports or brackets (B), for retrofitting or original installation. Each straddle bracket (30) comprises a top web (31) and two downwardly-depending flanges (32), forming together an inverted U-shaped configuration. On one side of a straddle bracket (30) a pair of receivers (35) together form a seat to receive a flange (27). Because of the angles at which the receivers (34, 35) are inclined they form a particularly stable seat for the ends of the illuminator 1, and furthermore they allow the illuminator to be rotated for optimum direction of the light.
