Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft die Herstellung eines dentalen Rohlings, der optional farbgebende Substanzen enthält, wobei ein keramisches oder metallisches Pulver als Ausgangsmaterial mit einer wässrigen, aliphatischen Polyurethan-Dispersion zu einer verpressbaren Masse vermengt wird, sowie einen so hergestellten dentalen Rohling und die Verwendung der Polyurethan-Dispersionen zur Herstellung eines dentalen Rohlings.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Konstruktion einer Restauration (1), wobei mittels einer dentalen Kamera (2) eine Zahnsituation (3) vermessen wird und ein 3D-Modell (4) der Zahnsituation (3) erzeugt wird. Dabei wird ein computergestützter Erkennungsalgorithmus auf das 3D-Modell (4) der Zahnsituation (3) angewendet, wobei ein Restaurationstyp (17) und/oder mindestens eine Zahnnummer (18) bzw. eine Position der einzusetzenden Restauration (1) automatisch ermittelt werden.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Werkzeugmaschine, insbesondere eine Fräsmaschine für Dentalzwecke, mit einem Werkstückmagazin für die Aufnahme, gegebenenfalls mit Hilfe eines Gehäuses, von Werkstücken. Das Werkstückmagazin (22) ist gegenüber der Werkzeugmaschine (10) im übrigen beweglich gelagert und weist eine Bestückungsposition (30) für die Bestückung des Magazins (22) mit einem neuen Werkstück (18) auf. Ferner weist die Werkzeugmaschine ein Gehäuse (40), insbesondere ein Teilgehäuse, für jedes Werkstück (18) auf, das das Werkstück (18) mindestens teilweise aufnimmt, und/oder eine Liftplattform (32), die der Bestückungsposition (30) benachbart angeordnet ist und auf der oder an der das Gehäuse (40) zusammen mit dem Werkstück (18) aufnehmbar und verfahrbar ist. A space maintainer is disclosed. The space maintainer of the present invention is an easy to install appliance and can be planted in one go. The space maintainer includes one or more brackets, a wire having plurality of notches and optionally, a molar tube. The bracket(s) and/or molar tube are fitted on respective tooth and have a passage for passing the wire. The notches in the wire ensure that the appliance is kept in place and is not dislocated.

La presente invención tiene por objeto la obtención de biomateriales compuestos nanoestructurados y bioactivos para impresión 3D de dispositivos médicos, formados por mezclas biocompatibles de polímeros derivados del Dimetacrilato de Uretano (UDMA), Tetrahidrofurfuril Metacrilato (THFMA), Metacrilato de Metilo (MMA), Polimetilmetacrilato de Metilo (PMMA), 2-hidroxietil metacrilato (HEMA), Alcohol vinílico (AV), alcohol polivinilíco (APV), Acido poliláctico (APL), Acido poliglicólico (APG), Acetato de vinilo (VAc) y acetato de polivinilo (PVAc) combinados con fotoiniciadores y mezclas de nano y miicropartículas de compuestos inorgánicos de hidroxi-carbonato-fosfatos de calcio y óxido de titanio dopados con nanotubos de carbono multicapa y grafeno. Las mezclas resultantes son imprimibles en 3D dada su composición y naturaleza, permitiendo la reproducción exacta de imágenes sólidas virtuales de partes de tejidos y órganos. Las mismas pueden ser confeccionadas mediante el diseño asistido por ordenador o generadas a partir de imágenes médicas como TAC, IRMN y otras. Los polímeros sintetizados tienen propiedades mecánicas adecuadas y son biocompatibles, lo que permite su utilización en la fabricación de dispositivos médicos implantables.

Apparatus and methods for adjustably retaining an oral appliance to an abutment assembly are disclosed. In one variation, a securement apparatus can comprise a sleeve having a sleeve frame and a number of locking flaps. The sleeve can define a lumen therethrough for positioning upon an abutment assembly. The locking flaps can have varying length dimensions and can project radially inward or outward relative to the sleeve frame. The outward flaps can lock against surface features defined along an inner surface of a coping coupled to the oral appliance and the inward flaps can lock against surface features defined along a portion of the abutment assembly. The sleeve can release the oral appliance from the abutment assembly when the locking flaps of the sleeve are actuated by an actuation unit.
