A controller of an electric car for controlling a motor which drives a wheel of the electric car by a vector control inverter for controlling the primary current of the motor which is divided into an exciting current component and a torque current component which are respectively controlled by the command values of the components, characterized in that the controller comprises a means which detects the wheel speed (including the rotor frequency of the motor which is proportional to the wheel speed), a means which detects slip and skid of the wheel in accordance with the differential coefficient (change rate with time) of the detected wheel speed, a means which detects the readhesion of the wheel in accordance with the differential coefficient and 2nd order differential coefficient of the detected wheel speed and a means which adjusts the torque current component command value in accordance with the detection results of both the detecting means. The readhesion point of the wheel can be found when the wheel slips or skids, and the torque current component of the motor can be restored in a short time accordingly by utilizing the high speed response of the vector control. Therefore, even in a state such as a rainy weather in which the adhesion factor is small, the torque can be efficiently utilized to a physical adhesion limit, so that the acceleration/deceleration of the electric car can be increased as high as possible.
Abstract:
One or more memory-device-side processors which can access the memory device belong to one group. Common memories and cache memories are allotted to the respective groups. When the access to the memory device is requested by a host-side processor, the memory-device-side processor of the group to which the memory device belongs informs the host-side processor of the stored cache address or the cache address to be stored and the data length. The host-side processor reads data at the address or writes data into the address. Thus, the access neck of the common memory and the cache memory is reduced and the system throughput is improved.
Abstract:
A semiconductor device manufacturing method wherein a metal film formed on a semiconductor wafer is polished by using an abrasive containing abrasive grain, an oxidizing agent, and an ammonium group-containing pH regulator, whereby the deterioration of a semiconductor element due to a defective form of the metal film and due to the abrasive components is prevented. Since an abrasive not containing metal ions which could cause the semiconductor element to be deteriorated is used, a washing step to be carried out after the polishing operation can be simplified.

When an IRD (103) performs reservation operation to use a bus in order to transmit broadcasting data from the IRD (103) through the bus in a desired time zone, the IRD (103) inquires all the devices connected to the bus, such as DVD (104), D-VTRs (1101 and 102), a CAM (105), a TV (100), and an isochronous manager section (107) of the D-VTR (1101) of the information about the present bus using states and bus reservations states. The manager section (107) and the other devices give the IRD (103) answers to the inquiry. The IRD (103) judges the possibility of the reservation from the answers. Then the IRD (103) judges that the reservation is possible, performs reservations. When the IRD (103) judges that the reservation is impossible, the IRD (103) displays the reason on the TV (100). Therefore, the use of devices beyond the transfer capacity of the bus is prevented.

The display is provided with a plasma generating means, a means which generates visible light from the plasma, an electrode across which a voltage is applied to generate the plasma, and an insulating layer covering the electrode. The plasma generating side surface of the insulating layer is a rugged surface.
Abstract:
An automatic on-delay compensation value regulator, and a low cost and high precision controller are provided. An on-delay compensation value calculator (35) is provided in a control circuit (3). The current of an AC motor (1) and the voltage of a power converter (2) are measured, and the carrier frequency is varied to calculate an on-delay compensation value. A Fourier converter is built in the on-delay compensation value calculator (35). The on-delay compensation value is varied so as to minimize the harmonics and ripples in the current to obtain a proper on-delay compensation value. As the deviation of the on-delay compensation value which is caused by the variation of the power converter itself can be controlled automatically, a torque ripple caused by the variation of the on-delay compensation value is prevented and a high precision controller is realized. Further, as the allowance of the variation of the hardware is increased, a low cost controller is realized.

In a gyro sensor which includes a vibrator formed on the same substrate on which a support portion is formed so that it is supported by the support portion while one of the ends thereof can freely vibrate, and insulating substrate bonded to the back of the substrate and a piezoelectric device bonded to the lower surface of the insulating substrate for vibrating the vibrator in the direction of its thickness by the piezoelectric device, a groove having opposed slopes is disposed on the vibrator, and strain detection means is disposed on the inner side of the opposed slopes of the groove. In this way, the gyro sensor can be made more compact, has a high detection sensitivity and has small variance of sensitivity. A video camera using this gyro sensor is also provided.

A disposal system for selecting and recovering reusable resources from used composite plastic comprising a crushing process, a washing and grain size adjusting process and a plastic selecting process. The composite plastic disposal system having combined the washing and grain size adjusting process in which mechanical impacts and frictional force are imparted to crushed plastic for washing it and adjusting the grain size thereof and the plastic selecting process in which a liquid cyclon is used can remarkably improve the accuracy in selecting plastic to be selected and recovered to thereby selectively obtain plastic of high purity, whereby it is possible to use recovered plastic as reusable resource material.

A walking assist device which comprises a moving body, which is movable, a support provided on the moving body for supporting a user, and means for decreasing a rate of speed change of the moving body relative to a change of a force, which the user acts on the support when the moving body increases in speed. Accordingly, even when the user applies a great force on the support when stumbling, the moving body can be prevented from rapidly moving, so that there is less possibility that the user is left behind.
